Helen Cheong Maybe his past life did something wrong to
"debtor". Just return n u will feel less painful. If
"debtor" take his things now, dont forget he will have to return in
his next life. Better still understand what GM always mentioned "in the
end we don't own anything" so why pursued? Is better to give then take.
Learn how to 放下。In business
circle of life, it is not common this type of things happened! More to come and
learn how to cope rather feeling sorry/sleepless nights thinking about it.

doing some rituals'.. If it really works, he will not come to you for help
already.. He needs to understand the 'source' of all these, and he is the
'source' himself.. When he starts to address the 'source', then there is a
chance that his problem can be solved..

Raymond Tung Why he is so sure that the debtor owe him $5 million ?
Maybe this is his own perception. If really the debtor took his $5 million,
then this maybe debt his owe the debtor previous life. Once he let go, in theory,
his karma shall be better now but in reality they are thinking that $5 million
everyday. Money make them worry about their living life style, impact business
cash flow. They shall think money not everything, cannot bring to next life.
Mind peaceful more important than physical things. If they doing good thing,
good karma will come to help them again with wealth and health.
Belinda Tan GM said "万般带不走,只有业随身". He should be glad that he can use $5 million to pay
off his karmic negatives. He should be thankful n should cultivate more
diligently

Steven Thung ideally if all or certain portion of the debts can be
recovered ,it will serve to motivate him to cultivate and discern the true
meaning of impermanence.Otherwise after knowing the Dharma, like 4Noble
Truths...etc ,it should trigger him to ponder what he wants to let go and
achieve in this life. The rest is up to his ripening of good and bad karma to
decide which path he will be heading
Steven Thung and btw, how on earth he was duped for this big amount w/o
any legal recourse at the first place. Surely he cannot be so naive for someone
who involve himself in biz for such big amt?

transcendental power to help him recover part of the funds to lead him to
cultivate n save himself!
Raymond Tung I think 10 or 20 years ago, many things based on trust.
Trust your sibling, relative, friends, business partners.... Nowadays,
materialism does change people behaviour and desire. Free thinking also part of
it. People do it first, worry later !!! Haha.
Francesca Poon The funds were deposited via a 3rd party into the debtor's
account. thats why the problem of no direct evidence. His Greed for high
returns come with High Risk. That's why I need to ask Marici for help in the
1st place. Hahaha! All boils down to the 3 Poisons - Greed, Jealousy,
Anger/hatred.

Nino Candra I like the statement of using the transcendental power to
help him recover some, while the other part should be carried out by ourselves.
It teaches us to be 'gentlemen' who is brave enough to be responsible with what
we have done towards others. As painful as it may seem, this just makes sense.

TBS/Buddhism by various methods. E.g. Transcendental Power, Healing power,
Fortune telling power, Geomancy/Fengshui........H

A Hinayana monk told him that if he supports the monk's temple and associated activities fully,
will help him pray and recover the money. Otherwise, no hope of even finding the debtor.
Like Sean said: "if it really works, he will not come to you for help already...."
I advised him to chant Marici's sutra as much as possible and ask for help and meantime he has do be charitable actively.
Well, he found the debtor!
Hahaha! How to recover if any amount of this debt?
