In the case below, TBS students should realised how blessed you all are to have GM. 

I have a "feeling" that the ancestors won't be happy and comfortable as they got others to pay for the tablet and the services in the end.

Moreover, the Big Monk seems to be all out for money and boastful at that.

Coming from a Buddhist temple and an Abbot too of the said temple, Hahaha!

Buddhism is very high on theory and aware of the pitfalls that the 3-poisons bring forth.

I might go look at the temple and see whether the Buddhas & Boddhisattvas are in place or not. 

This case looks like some spirits had taken over the temple's altar as even the Abbot is "infected". 

Criticising a Monk? He obviously does not fit the Criteria of a Monk.

Just like the famous one that misappropriated Public Funds!

Dear Fa-Shi,

Lately encounter a ridiculous case.  Someday in the morning of September 2011, I received a call from a family looking for ancestor tablet.  At first I thought just a sample enquiry, but then they told me they are having funeral of their beloved father and going for burial at that day afternoon.  I end up manage to get K go down and serve for the deal.

They keep saying other agent can give discount and want us to follow as well. K showed them how much of the commission that we could earn for a cheapest ancestor tablet.  Since they know there is not much. so just let it be and let us earn that.  As they become a customer of our company they can entitle to have free 49 days 安灵 service at our site, but they requested us to extend it into 100 days in our cost... I paid for the 200+ extension charges for that service.. 

After the 100 days (Dec 2011) they came to remove the altar and install the tablet.  The tablet had carve their family sure name ancestor and total 6 names on it as they wan to fully utilize it.

Too bad that their grandmother sure name had wrongly carved into their family surname.  The customer service and myself were very nervous at that time.  Of course they family wasn't happy with that mistake.  To complement the mistake the manager agreed to re-carve the tablet within 7 working days, and agree to arrange our own fa-shi or claim their hired fa-shi to exchange the table with offering.

I informed them while the replacement tablet received.  But they didn't decide when and how much the charge of their hired fa-shi as he had went for seclusion.  But today (2.1.2012) evening they called me and said they will hired an Abbott from a temple and chose the date on Wed (4.1.2012).  But the charges for that Abbott is 4 times of the normal market rate of a  fa-shi!!!!!!

What a great family that let people pay for the 安灵 extension that doing for their father.  And 趁火打劫 on the complement of our mistake.

Abbott so easy to hired from a temple?  And want it to be done on 4.1.2012 and not other "good date" as this date was chose by the so called Abbott he hired....

When I asked why need an Abbott for this simple tablet installation, they told me have to hired a 大和尚. so they feel safe nothing will go wrong.. hahahahaha.. in my mind I said what if still got something go wrong even hire an 大和尚?  Does that 大和尚 can write them a guarantee letter to them nothing will go wrong?  

Fa-shi what your opinion about this case?

haha! u ask whether the monk will write a script for the case and will he be alone or not.

Tell them I will do it for less with a script; lingpai , pagoda, lotus n incense so that the ancestors have plenty of resources to spend.

Actually, u teach them to bu-a puay n ask the ancestors whether the big monk can really do a good job for them or not! Hahaha!

or after the ceremony, they can do so and ask ancestors happy or not.

ask whether they have dreams of ancestors coming back to ask for things because they are very poor n no food, no clothing n no shelter .....

people will listen to others that say who n who very powerful n so on....

hahaha!

update of the story..

Tuesday (3.1.2012)

The customer called NV Operation Mgr told him about the cost.  The Mgr contact me and discuss with me then I know the "Big Monk" they hired is from a temple called "TFL" (hehehehe.. direct convert from chinese one, can't be too obvious)

I made a prank call to the temple.  Their charge is 200 for hire fa-shi go out for simple chanting and table installation.  And I asked if they have any "Big-Monk" can hired as I said I can pay more, the answer is NO!

So I told this to the Mgr and he got the contact of the "Big Monk".  The Mgr was shaking his head when he try to nego with him and told him there is a roughly market rate and ask if he can charge less as 出家人慈悲为怀.

The "Big Monk" said: 慈悲个屁啦! 哪有什么行情不行情的.多少我说了算! 我说1千,你就得付1千,两千就付两千! 企业化! 你懂吗?

I heard liao felt big shock too.. how could this words out from a so called Abbott???
