Finding your own Buddha Nature?
What do you think are the requisites?
Hahaha! Ask Guru!
Knowing Yourself?
Ask Yourself of course! :)
I learn lots from the Defamation Saga from the participants on both sides.
I classified them under Mob Mentality.
WHY?
They don't have a mind of their own!
When Central issued an officical endorsement to express their love for Guru, and lend support to the [ilovegm] forum, everybody rushed in and [let go]!
When someone also gave the wrong interpretation on Guru's ending statements of that cultivation session, everybody seems to be very upset of Guru actually leaving us or retiring!
The rush started to [show love for Guru] yet again, jamming the fax machines too.
Guru said to call a halt to the faxes as they are a great waste of resources and he said that [Love in the Heart will do].
Question: What does Guru meant by [Love in the Heart will do] ?
Guru is trying yet again to tell all, HE KNOWS who truly loves him and who are fakes.
Question:
Do you cultivate regularly?
Say at least once a day as Guru advised?
Did you also remember to do dedication for Guru's health and well-being before you end each session?
Do you chant Guru's mantra regularly with visualization?
If all the above are answered with a very firm [YES], then you really have no cause to go join the Mob.
You don't have to force those that don't think your way to do so too.
You also have no cause to make them your enemies or sneer at them or ridicule them.
You have indeed created lots of Negative karma this way.
In finding your own MIND and your own Buddha Nature, it is a solitary trip except for Guru arming you with lots of resources to proceed pretty smoothly.
You do not need [Safety in Numbers]!
It is truly regretful to see students ignore Buddha Dharma & Guru's words to participate in [Mob Aggression].
How can One expect to have a Mind of their very own if they do not practice as taught by Guru and use Buddha Dharma for the benefit of all?
Free yourself please, do not just blindly and Mindlessly follow anyone that seem to be a Leader.
Study this [Leader's] carefully and even if you like what he/she said, you still have no need to follow their instructions blindly.
Remember Guru's recounting of Athisa and Serlingpa?
Both Student and Teacher, study each other for a long period before they accepted each other.
When you accepted Guru as your teacher, then please stay tune only to his teachings and not what others say. These people are not your GURU!
In Tantrayana, it is a very firm Teacher and Student bond that will result in the Student's ultimate attainment. Therefore, the Student has to have absolute faith and trust in the Guru to know what's best and do not supersede the Guru or [second-guess] the Guru to act against Guru's principles.
Let us all sit back and reflect on what have we done and repentance is always necessary and a good practice of humbleness too.
