  There is only one sided comments ( from the supposedly "stunt" public and Rev Lian Ping from Sinagpore Buddhist Association) . 

  
  

  The article focused a lot on the supposedly "stunt" emotion responses from the public. There was no interview on the nuns and monk on the scene . 

  
  

  There was no background material written on the customs and practices of both Tibetan Lineage and Theravada Tradition . 

  By not writing the background material, this sowed the seeds of misunderstanding and ignorance in the general public at large. They will get the impression and conclusion that all Buddhist monks and nuns should be vegetarian. Which is NOT TRUE .

  If this is in a courtroom, this can amount to misleading the audience and an opposing lawyer can object any time. The article is overwhelmingly lopsided.

  Liew Wee Chong In the increasingly "cosmopolitan" trend of our Singapore Society , such misleading notions should be challenged whenever they surfaced, else, people will be misled. People nowadays simply are too busy and they do not have time to sit down calmly and think clearly . If they just read these misinformed papers and draw their conclusions from them, then it would be a great disservice to their intellect and ultimately block or stunt their wisdom.

  Hahaha! Similarly, the reporters went to Interview someone they thought is the authority in these matters and can give them answers!!! If all are so MINDFUL; and Seek the Truth, then our task as dharma propagators are easy! Just point them to read or study certain materials n Viola, they are Enlightened and One More to help succor other still lost or sleeping!
