[This story by Guru is about a baby born blind.
Surgeons suggested surgery as both eyes were covered by a layer of thick opaque membrane.
However, during surgery, the surgeons discovered that there was yet another layer of the same membrane covering the baby's eyes!
The parents went to seek help from various channels again.
At one of the medium's session they were told: Grandmaster Lu is a True Buddha, go seek Grandmaster Lu's help quickly.
As GM was in Seattle, they parents wrote a letter and sent to Seattle.
Just after posting the letter, they had a dream.
In the dream, the saw GM Lu flying gracefully accompanied by 8 Dakinis.
They asked: What karma of this child of this couple that causes him to be born blind? How to eliminate this karma?
GM: This child had 2 excellent Gurus in his previous life, but he betrayed both of them. Eyes couldn't recognise good gurus, therefore reincarnated with double layers of eye membrane covering his eyes.
8 Dakinis: Karma is truly scary, but how to open the eyes?
GM replied: I chant a verse [excerpts from Lotus Sutra]. Bear in Mind, Bear in Mind.
After receiving these instructions from GM, they paid respect to Avalokitesvara and Padmakumara.
The eye membranes of their son, slowly disappeared with their increasing Sincerity in chanting. Their son gained sight eventually.
This couple took refuge with TBS. They also led many to take refuge too.]
