After supper, there was discussion on how some Buddhist chapters look-down on others because they consider theirs most pure!
Hahaha! This in itself already veers away from Buddha's teachings of equality, no segregation/differentiation.
The moment you have the Thought of any other sector or group of Buddhist students being "impure" and what you are learning or think you have learnt is Purest, sad to inform you that you don't even understand or have learn Basic Dharma at all!
Buddha Nature is inherent in every one or every being, irregardless of forms they may be manifested in at the present moment.
In Buddha's eyes, all beings whether visible or invisible to the naked eye are equal.
For those that had acquired a certain level of wealth; fame; status; ..... in this lifetime, it is truly difficult to bring themselves to understand the concept of Equality amongst all beings.
When you think you are truly very "highly" placed, think again!
There are more beings in the Heavenly Realm that are even more "highly" placed than you.
Yes!
The 6 realms of the Samsaric Cycle includes Heavenly Beings too!
No matter how materially well off you think you are, you can't use them to buy your way out of the Samsaric Cycle. You can't buy entry into Pureland too!
When any religious "head" slander any other religious groups of the same leanings or of different leanings; they are the ones that are sadly ignorant of what Buddha; God; .... wanted to instil and to share with all beings.
Some of these "heads" even instigated wars in the name of their respective Gods or Divinities; which upsets the Universal Balance in great loss of lives.
These instigators have to go through many cycles of samsara to clean themselves up and hopefully to gain human form eventually to cultivate and leave samsara behind.
To all fellow beings with Human form, treasure this form and cultivate diligently to leave the samsaric cycle behind and also help other beings to do so too.
