8-6-2011 着相 Fixated on Forms

The Dharma King Test - A true Dharma King must be able to use his power to form a Mandala with a Mani stone & this should be Visible to all sentient beings!

Haha! Did Buddha say that true Dharma Kings should have these type of "powers"?
The Zen lineage of Patriarchs - not all of them have these "powers", do you know?

I recalled someone lectured me about 2years back when I first become a lama. He said: you must spend more time to learn to be a "chu-jia ren"出家人. [ordinated person].
He said I should not spend too much time helping others anyway.

Questions: does a monk/nun/lama has a fixed look? do we have to tie ourselves to the shrine and stay  infront of it for the whole day or most part of the day?

GM explained 6th Patriarch's Zen Sutra - No form.
There should not be a fixed form that one gets attached to & also expect others to conform to too.

Zen Meditation - as long as you are immovable & not affected by your surroundings into any actions, you are considered as in Samodhi. There is no getting into or out of Samodhi too.

When you are walking, eating & etc. you are actually cultivating too. You can chant mantra & dedicate to all around you all the time, also sharing universal energy you drew in with all as well.

I humbly believe that when you can live with your surroundings at ease & happily & make everyone around you just as happy and at ease, you found the True Path.

Haha!
Share & be happy!
