How to light infinitely?  hehe!!

Nino:  Hahaha. I'm not an expert fashi.

But for me, the correct  thinking, refuge, combined with Boddhicitta and constant cultivation are the key ingredients to cleanse the negative karma inside us.

Once the dirty layers have been cleansed the inherent light will appear.

Conceptually speaking, the light has been there since the very beginning.

I believe the purpose of the cultivation is to revert back to the primordial state.

To verify the lamp that has lit infinitely.

Our lights are of the same, shining brightly infinitely at the same level, ready to be uncovered.

The physical lamp is just the symbol to remind us again of the nature of the light itself.

Asking those questions of how long to light brightness lamps shows ignorance.
Actually when I lead cultivation I always teach them to transform self and all into light n merge. Then merge into universal void.
Once u lit up, its infinite as u found the key to go home .
Let's wait n hear what other opinion we get.
Just keep for a day or two

Hi Fashi, Q: so u want to light for 1day/1year/1lifetime/ infinitely?

A: I guess you are not referring to all the physical light lamps that we will be lighting up this sunday.

We will be lighting them on 31-12-2011 which is a Saturday.

U guess right! I am referring to the lamp within, which is our Heart Chakra.

I also asked: How to keep it burning infinitely and you are right too with the Boddhicitta angle of lighting up to share/shower all with Warmth & Light.

Steven Thung The Heart's Lamp is already lighted up...not only in individual but in every sentient beings heart. The act of lighting up lamps as offerings is comparable to using our finger to point to show where the moon is.

Most of us were instilled with concepts or ideologies of various procedures like offering Joss-sticks; lamps; food stuff; incense paper ……

There is an article on this blog about offering Fa-gao 发糕. Most believe this is a MUST HAVE for offering.  Hahaha!

Offering is Actually your Sincerity and Giving what you like most, and not what others tell you that you must offer or else…..

I have also hinted that Temples need resources and they give different names to lighting lamps, to get income.  

I also told you about the old lady that is very poor and use all her resources to light the way for Sakyamuni Buddha to walk back to his vihara.

What is important is not Money and amount of lamps you lit and for how long too. 

It is the whole-hearted sharing with ALL sentient beings with no discrimination, segregation that is the KEY.

Our lamp is lit indefinitely, BUT we have to "light" it up first!

Our Karmic Negatives engulf/encase our Heart Chakra, preventing the lotus from opening its petals. Thus preventing any light from this lotus to shine in all its glory.

GM teaches how to clear Karmic Negatives through cultivation. This is the Basic or foundation we all have to go through employing the 4 Preliminaries Sadhana.

Don’t be impatient and jump to what you perceived or others tell you are the Highest and Most Powerful Sadhana.

Vajrasattva’s Sadhana is the Highest and Most Powerful if you but know it.

The Beginning and the Ultimate all in one!!!
