Insomnia, or sleeplessness, is a sleep disorder in which there is an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep as long as desired.[1][2] While the term is sometimes used to describe a disorder demonstrated by polysomnographic evidence of disturbed sleep, insomnia is often practically defined as a positive response to either of two questions: "Do you experience difficulty sleeping?" or "Do you have difficulty falling or staying asleep?"[2]
Insomnia is most often thought of as both a medical sign and a symptom[2][3] that can accompany several sleep, medical, and psychiatric disorders characterized by a persistent difficulty falling asleep and/or staying asleep or sleep of poor quality. Insomnia is typically followed by functional impairment while awake. Insomnia can occur at any age, but it is particularly common in the elderly.[4] Insomnia can be short term (up to three weeks) or long term (above 3–4 weeks), which can lead to memory problems, depression, irritability and an increased risk of heart disease and automobile related accidents.

Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine created in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann, based on his doctrine of like cures like, according to which a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people will cure similar symptoms in sick people.[1] Homeopathic remedies are found to be no more than a placebo,[2] and homeopathy is widely considered apseudoscience.
Hahnemann believed that the underlying causes of disease were phenomena that he termed miasms, and that homeopathicremedies addressed these. The remedies are prepared by repeatedly diluting a chosen substance in alcohol or distilled water, followed by forceful striking on an elastic body.[8] Dilution usually continues well past the point where no molecules of the original substance remain.[9] Homeopaths select remedies by consulting reference books known as repertories, and by considering the totality of the patient's symptoms, personal traits, physical and psychological state, and life history.[10]
The scientific community regards homeopathy as nonsense,[11] quackery[12][13][14] or a sham,[15] and homeopathic practice has been criticized as unethical.[16] The axioms of homeopathy are long refuted[17] and lack any biological plausibility.[18] Although some clinical trials produce positive results,[19][20] systematic reviews reveal that this is because of chance, flawed research methods, and reporting bias.[21][22][23][24] The postulated mechanisms of action of homeopathic remedies are both scientifically implausible[21][25] and physically impossible.[26]

Dear all
To be fair to eastern & western medicine, some practitioners do adopt Natural Healing methods with their patients. :)
For those that can't sleep, their systems OVERHEAT! This affects their general system's function as a WHOLE.
For example, they develop mouth ulcers, aches and pains and even fever. Their Digestive Ability also much reduced. They lost appetite most time, because eating resulted in Incomplete Digestion of food giving rise to Flatulence (accumulation of gas in the alimentary canal.)
Even if you take Melatonin supplements, you might not get the required effect! WHY? You can't even digest your food properly, how to do so with any supplements or drugs?
Why don't you take some regular exercises and practice meditation? A healthy body speaks Wonders!
Of course, Cultivation of Qigong, Meditation is best for all to stay healthy and not rely on supplements or drugs for Insomnia or other health issues or disorders, agree?
YES! SZ said to dump all "garbage" before sleep! Hahaha!
Cheers all
