活潑的元神 The Lively Spiritual Essence

This book 45, is written by GM Lu in  蓮生活佛.盧勝彥.一九八三年六月於美國西雅圖靈仙閣 Seattle's Ling Xian Ge in June 1983.

Sad to say that many ignore or don't understand the messages shared within. :)
These are all pointers to the Ultimate Maha Perfection Dharma & Buddhahood!

Sincerely wish all will go re-visit all the earlier books that GM Lu has written, for they are the crucial foundation bricks and pillars all sincere cultivators need.

I am sharing as much as possible in English for the benefit those students that don't read & comprehend the Chinese language.

活潑的元神
  很多人問我,「啟靈」是怎麼一回事?坐禪和「啟靈」有什麼關聯?筆者說明如下:
Many asked me what is [raising spirit]? Is there any relation to Sitting Zen (meditation)?

  最初,我從基督的信仰變成神仙的信仰,是從「啟靈」開始的,我沒有正式修「啟靈」,祇是當初一跪,馬上靈動,一剎那間就有感應,一切全明白了。
GM Lu has become a Deity from a Catholic should commence from [raising spirit], but he didn't formally cultivate [raising spirit], because from the beginning, as he kneel down then instantly his spirit initialised and has response, and understand everything.
[note: this is an alternative or dharma way that one can be "initialised or activated"! :)]

  原來「啟靈」之法,是道家瑤池金母派(丹鼎派)的一種練身法,
This [raising spirit] method, originally from Taoist Golden mother of Yao pond sector (Dan Ding sector), a method of body practice.
瑤池金母是道家五老之尊,在東方是東華帝君(木公),在西方是瑤池金母,在南方是火德真君(火精子),在北方是水德真君(水精子),在中央是黃老。
瑤池金母由東華帝君傳法,東華帝君又由玄玄上人傳法。

  瑤池金母(丹鼎派),初傳練身法於花蓮,這是啟靈的開始,後來我一得此法,請示瑤池金母,瑤池金母應允我廣為宣導,使人人因啟靈的初機,獲得最初的感應,再引導眾生入「真佛宗」修行之門。
因此,瑤池金母(丹鼎派)的練身法,目前成了風尚,很多寺廟宮壇均用此法,以度眾生之初發心。

  筆者知道,有很多人因「啟靈」後,確知果有鬼神,因而丟棄塵世之緣,堅決的出家修行去了。
Writer knows that many that after practicing [raising spirit], truly know the existence of deities and ghosts, thus abandon the sentient world's affinity, firmly decide to be "leave home" = ordained and cultivate.


目前這「啟靈」法,也有很多人正在使用之中,但這法祇是度「初發心」,用於「初機」之用,讀者不可不知。
At present many practice this [raising spirit], but should know that this method is only to succour those [initial or beginners' who vow to benefit all beings] , use as an [initial machine] only.

  原來「動」的道理,是「氣流」牽動的,這「氣流」在身體裡面奔馳,使修者便全身動了起來。
Originally, the theory of [Move or mobilisation] is linking movement of [Qi energy flow], this flow inside the body drives the whole body to start to move.


大凡欲求「靈動」,坐時用目視鼻端,手置心胸之處,耐心安靜的坐著,口中默禱「瑤池金母」,若心輕輕微微的入靜,靜久了,外力忽然而入體
Most that wish for [raising spirit] , sit and use eyes to look at nose tip, hand place at heart breast, patiently and silently sit, mouth chanting [Yao Chi Jin Mu], if heart lightly and slightly enter silence, lasting silence, external strength suddenly enters body.
(神的氣入於修者的體中,自力與外力互相配合,元神活了,如此「氣」現前,必然牽動身體,而產生「靈動」。)
Deity's Qi energy enters cultivator's body, self and external strength merging, the Spiritual Essence or Form comes alive, thus [Qi] appearing will surely initialise body movement, and result in [spiritual movement].

  據我所知,「靈動」也有妙處:
As far as I know, there are various special factors of [spiritual movement]:

  第一,練身法原是鍛鍊自己身體的健康而設立。
Train body method are originally for one to practice and strengthen one's body.

有人身體太虛弱,或慢性的疾病,由於「啟靈」的靈動,身體依自然的運動原理,得到了病疾的痊癒,這樣的運動法,目前也有人加以運用,就是風行的「外丹功」
外丹功正是啟靈靈動之後,依法則形成的一股風尚。
Popular nowadays this [external dan gong] is in fact [raising spirit]. As the body gets "kick started" by external Qi energy and those that are weak or have chronic illnesses slowly gets the necessary exercises to heal.

  第二,依「啟靈練身」,可治「昏沉散亂」的毛病,要知道「昏沉散亂」是坐禪的一大毛病,散亂者,是雜思太多,神奔洩太多,自然「散而亂」。
而昏沉者,就是元神不活不清不明,昏沉之疾,是元神的麻木不仁之症。一般說來,元神昏沈,這是「純陰」為主。一個人在坐禪之中,產生暈暈欲睡之狀,便是昏沉的現象,此時之坐禪,祇是凡夫的呼吸,而非坐禪的真息。若有「散亂昏沉」的現象,最好啟靈來動一動,先練「外丹」,再修內丹,因這「靈動」可以治「昏沉散亂」。

  第三,依「啟靈」法,由於動的感應,仔細去分辨其頻率,可以修到靈通的地步,這是用細微的心去分辨「入氣」的頻率,由於「己思」與「神思」的合一,若到「知微」的地步,天人合一的知過去未來,可以辦的到。

  第四,由於「靈動」是很好的「鬼神」之氣的證明,很快能令人相信「有神」,因此用此法度眾生特別快速,由此入門,再傳授最上上無上大法的「坐禪通明」法,如此才能獲得大眾的信仰,若沒有「啟靈法」,

「坐禪通明法」人皆不信不修,奈何?

這是我盧勝彥視心之交,用靈動之理,善立方便法門,用以啟發後來者

而我這善立方便法門,受各方宗派之師的排斥與譭謗,真是沉冤莫白。

當初妖法邪法的千夫所指,豈知我的用心何在?

  按我的研究與經驗,動與靜,完全在一個「制」字上用功夫,靈動若不能「制」,就會變成鬼神利用的工具,就是「乩童」。
As per my experience, Move or Still all dependent on a [control] knowhow, if [raising spirit] cannot be control, then will become tools use by ghosts and deities, that is [shamans or mediums].

在靜中也不能「制」,也會神明漏盡,成了木槁死灰一般,
If in stillnese and cannot [control], then spiritual essence all leak away, becoming dead ash or rotten wood, 

所以坐禪在一個「制」字上用功夫,一切要「自制」,始可避免入於「走火入魔」,所以坐禪之法,原是純心而行,不求感應而自有感應,先把「病痛、昏沉、散亂」的毛病治了,自有應驗也。

  
筆者到今天,仍然供奉瑤池金母大天尊,我到了美國,仍然把一尊瑤池金母帶在身傍。因為我最初便是從「啟靈法」開始,而瑤池金母是「啟靈」的賜法神,後來的一些神道與傳法者皆是這一派的往下傳,學法要知源頭,我從啟靈到通明,這是一段遙遠遙遠的過程,但是我是不忘本的人,「瑤池金母」是五行西方的一?,原是西方一仙主,其道家地位的尊貴,不是小神小仙可以及得的,所以我一直的供奉著,不敢忘記其大德大恩。

  記得我初得靈覺,便發了一個大願望,將來我若「得證」,一條元神便到瑤池金母處,以供瑤池金母大天尊差遣。第二條元神到西方極樂世界處,追隨西方教主阿彌陀佛,以輔西方極樂世界,再慈航倒裝,宣揚佛法。(西方極樂世界的摩訶虌泵嶼O我的源頭)。第三條元神,追隨地藏王菩薩,以地藏王菩薩的發心為發心,地獄不空,誓不成佛。這是我以地藏王菩薩為修法本尊的一個大因緣,也就是這個地藏王菩薩的大因緣,令我這一世修法中與諸鬼眾及鬼王等,都成了好朋友,諸鬼也大力幫助我。

  玆將坐禪的大原則說明如下
Basic principle of Sitting Zen or Meditation as follows:

  靈動──活潑──陽神──健身──自制。
Spiritual movement - lively - yang spirit - promote health - self control

  昏沉──陰氣──陰神──槁木──他制。
Dull and sunken  - ying qi energy  - ying spirit - rotten wood - others' control


  所以「天心」之部位,平時的光能動能聚,這是表示活潑的元神,這是好現象。如果平時沒有光,也不能動,這是死元神,等到你的軀殼壞了死了,這元神才動,這就不好了。
正應了我以前寫書的一句話:「人死靈魂生,人生靈魂死。」天下眾生,未修者皆如此也,一切由不得自己。

  筆者今天大開「真佛宗」法門,要大家坐禪通明,一定要修至自己圓陀陀的肚子下臍處,有一縮如嬰兒,這嬰兒能現天花光明,上應天上五色虹光,中應人身白紅藍三色,下應大地五行。

往上運行,在「天心」部位,其光能動能聚,不但慈眉善目,外顯忿怒金剛相,能得證如此,才算是「真佛宗」的真正修持尊者之尊也。

  「坐禪通明」到如此地步,自然寶相莊嚴,金剛面目,菩薩心腸,隨緣傳法,不拘形式,能立即神通示現,立法方便度眾生,起死回生,一切法應手可得,可以治病驅魔,種種法皆有成就。

  修「坐禪通明」,可盡得各種大法,一通而百通,盡得其髓,融會貫通所有的宗派,不論顯法密法道家,全部可以通曉,甚至外道邪法也可一一明白而得一一打破,不怕天魔來破堅固壇城。
