[[ 明白這個道理了,「菩提作麼長」,一切都是現成的。
「長」,就是有生。
有生,就有滅,這個道就有增減了,那就不是真正的無上道,而是佛善巧設的方便。]]
In the above statement, writer interpreted the word 「長」 as "growth", unlike GM's version as "length".
Although the general concept of No increase & No decrease is the same, but we should take GM Lu's version as He was the 6th Zen Patriarch, Hui Neng!

Question: Does Bodhi grows?
Hehe!
Lets explore!
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Extract:
The Buddha mentioned two sorts of Dharma-instruments:
Those who were inspired by the Exalted One and immediately believed in Him (araddhaviharin);
and the others who did not take the Refuges at first but rather gained knowledge of the Teachings (Dharmaviharin), (as many Westerners do, added our Yogi).
The Enlightened One declared that He preferred the latter type.
This is one extremely important characteristic of the Buddhist religion in which it differs from other systems.
In Buddhism, one is encouraged to question, to gain knowledge and to develop intelligence, a striking contrast with outsiders' religions where one is first asked to believe in and to unreservedly accept certain dogmas.
...........
If you don't practise & develop your own mind to reveal your very own Buddha nature, then NO ONE, can do so for you!
GM also said in recent speech that students started to dictate to or control him!
One does not dictate to a Buddha or even attempt to control a Buddha!
If you are controlled by anyone and do not have a Mind of Your Very Own, sorry to burst your euphoric bubble, You will never be able to leave the Samsaric cycle at all!
To "Grow" in Wisdom, One needs to do relevant research and understand Basic Concepts of Buddhist Philosophy.
Take it like reading stories of various exploits of Sakyamuni Buddha & His Disciples!
Have Fun!
Remember that Cultivation Depends Solely on Self's Diligent Efforts!
No one can do it for you! :)
~~~~~~~~~~~
Bodhi 菩提(Sanskrit: बोधि; and Pali) in Buddhism is the understanding possessed by a Buddha regarding the nature of things.
It is traditionally translated into English with the word enlightenment and literally means awakened.
Bodhi is knowledge into the causal mechanism by which beings incarnate into material form and experience suffering.

Hahaha!
Now what exactly do you understand about "Bodhi"?
Can "Bodhi" grows as suggested by writer of **, and does he truly understand "Bodhi"?
In GM Lu's speech of 8-8-2015 in Seattle, he shared "Bodhi" as one of the factors when He explained 6th Zen Master, Hui Neng, verse in comparison to that of Wo Lun.
GM Lu actually gave us the answer to whether "Bodhi" can grow or not too!
From about 26 minutes into the following video, you can find GM talking about Bodhi!
2015年8月8日聖尊蓮生活佛盧勝彥開講「大圓滿九次第法」-西雅圖雷藏寺

NB: The brief write up from TBSN didn't include the 4 factors GM Lu
mentioned.
Factors are Worrying Thoughts 思虑 & Buddha nature 佛性;
Thoughts 念头 & Bodhi 菩提.
Cheers all
