Lotuschef on [Right/Wrong] - Dalai Lama -- 达赖喇嘛 2

From the previous article, Writer quoted the Dalai Lama's statements about being herbivorous or carnivorous!
Hahaha!

Writer really has no idea of the very Basics of Buddha's philosophy.
What the Dalai Lama choose to eat or state, is his interpretation of Buddha's philosophy or his point of view only.
It is up to the individual to choose whether it is appropriate to follow suit, correct?

Refrain from Killing and Do Not Eat Meat, is 2 Different matter, concur? :)

Writer is obviously more Chinese language orientated too, as the English version bears lots of interesting variations.

For example: Concise people, should it not be Wise People?
As we are discussing Buddhism, and Wisdom and Compassion are characteristics of Buddhas & Boddhisattvas.

Writer has yet to study and cultivate Buddha's sharings to a certain level of Enlightenment, and truly in No Position to question what who does is Right or Wrong, concur?

From the passage presented, Writer is truly out on his own personal agenda of belittling people that he thinks hold high or revered positions.

Let me gift you the Diamond Sutra - No Forms! Do not create an enemy or a superior that has abilities to harm your or control you or dictate to you!

One afternoon, while I am the Duty manager of Seattle Temple, a dark-skin lady, came visiting and after walking around, she started to question the Deputy Duty manager who speaks only Mandarin and Taiwanese Dialect. She was directed to me.
Her opening statement : Why you all can eat meat?

Hahaha! Literally, those with teeth and canine teeth can tear meat apart, of course they have no problem eating meat!

Well, I explained to her that Sakyamuni Buddha did not stipulate against consumption of meat. Also told her about Buddha going around seeking alms from households nearby his residence.
He ate what was offered gratefully.

There was a recorded story of his being served moldy rice, but that didn't harm him.

For some, you may perceived her statement as a hostile attack. However, we don't counter-attack but resolve her queries with Buddha Dharma.

Also in his Chinese version, writer talks about eating meat as breaking Disciplines/Precepts.
That is not reflected in the English version.

I have already said that Disciplines are Guides to stay on the Bodhi Path only, they are not to be use by Any for their own personal agendas or vendettas, for Self Advancement & etc.

See how I used them in certain articles? :)

Cheers all. Do not let yourself be tangled with something you have little or no idea about, please.

I am evil to analysed and break down this writer's confrontational approach to show he is one of the "Concise People"? Hahaha!
