Lotuschef in [What did Guru said?] 2

From the article: A Good Reason to Cultivate

"If you really wish to benefit others, the first step is to attain realization yourself.
You must first mature your own mind, otherwise you will be incapable of helping others. Giving other people water is impossible unless you have a jug with water in it. If it is empty, you might make the gesture of pouring , but no water will come out."

- Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche -

LC: From my comments under Guru's article about ignorance - http://lotuschef.org/blog/2011/06/23/ignorance-2/

[Ignorance also comes with fear of the Unknown or just can’t stand people being smarter than them so they slander & get fierce & threatening too.
Came across lots like these.]

Fear Factor!
Actually going to write about Guru's daily diet of low fat, low sugar, low salt just now.
Being churning it since yesterday afternoon, in my mind!
Would like to let more know about Guru so that they can get a clearer picture to yoga!
and dear AA, dug out the Guru Yoga article! Hehe!

AA, telepathic hor? :)

AA: Divine mystery lol.

Actually it came into realisation with the analogy like when we're seeing a person who has a great sculpted body, we might be jealous but there's no need to hate and find excuses as:
1. The said person trains hard regularly and keeps a strict diet perhaps (proven true).
2. We can also get the same result if we train hard and follow the same step.

The pattern is as simple as that.
How weird it is that human's emotion can horribly be twisted.

LC: Well, lawyers twisted the Truth to suit themselves to win cases for clients!
I have first hand experience of these underhand practices!

I share Authentic Buddha Dharma & people hit at me no end! :)
Lucky for them, to coin Guru's words: I Don't Care!
Hehe!
People think Simple can't be Right!
Must Complicate matters then is Right!

Hahaha!
Twisted Mindset!

Like #2 n team thinks that Tops yogi will compete with them for Merits!
In actual fact these Tops yogi don't need any and they also have plenty to give out!
Shows that #2 & Gang still far from yoga with Guru or any yidams!

Telling the Truth also get hit at! Hahaha! That's sentient mindset for you!!!
Well, Guru said watching their antics is FUN too!
This is 8 fold path, to stay detached and watch from Outside the Circle or Arena that these people Fight in!
:)

Hi AA, this is how we met!
[AAYes, I remember about GM's sermon about two weeks ago where He mentioned that in addition to external fire puja, we could also conduct internal homa as well – in which our hands transform into scoops and our Three Roots in the sky transform into light dots and enter into our heart chakra.

Since it resembles the external fire puja. Does it need empowerment to do this practice? Or we can do as you wrote in your post above? Thanks, Lama.]

AA: Very happy, meeting a friend who has fluency in english and can share views and be a place to clarify things about cultivation :) Hahaha.

LC: well???
hehe!
Don't praise me too much, else I lost my head and function as Zombie!
hahahahahahaha....
Clarify???
Don't take my words for the Truth too!  :)
I might occasionally look like Guru, but I am not Guru lol!

Dear all, what did you pick up from the above?

1. If you really wish to benefit others, the first step is to attain realization yourself
You must first mature your own mindotherwise you will be incapable of helping others

2. Knowing more about Guru - helps in Guru Yoga.
Why Diet? Hahaha! You can cook food with low fat, sugar & salt and before you eat, do bardo and then offering.
Making a point to cook for Guru, so to speak, shows your sincerity!
Cooking healthy food that suits Guru's diet, shows more sincerity!
Eventually eating these food, keeps you healthy too! :)
Of course the food you cook must be food you like too!

3. Don't waste time with trivial or nonsensical matters. Stay detached!

Cheers all. Happy Cultivating!
