以下是蓮生活佛盧勝彥文集第40冊：
The following is from Living Buddha Lian Sheng, Lu Sheng Yan Literary Collections No. 40:
我深深知道。
I deeply realized.
報父母恩咒：「南無密栗哆。哆婆曳娑訶。」，
Filial piety mantra: [Namo Miliduo. Duopoyi svaha.]
假如在七月之中，每日持誦四十九遍，可報父母之恩。（注：越多越好）
If during the Lunar 7th month, everyday chant 49 times, can repay Parents with heart felt gratitudes.
這是一個方便個人修持的方法。
This is a convenient method for solo cultivator.
若窮苦人家無力參加盂蘭盆法會，
For those poor families that cannot afford to participate in the Urabon (Ullambana) events,
我勸他每日持咒四十九遍，
I suggest that they chant this mantra 49 times daily,
農七月之中，日日行持，報親與度陰照樣得成就，
During the Lunar 7th Month, by maintaining daily chanting, it will repay parents or Bardo Deliverance too will similarly achieved success,
這是萬家生佛，功德非常之大。
This is Tens of Thousands Giving Rise to Buddha, Merits are very great.
