Old Buildings - Wear and Tear 2

This problem was highlighted the neighbor staying immediate downstairs.

There were leakages from my apartment downwards to his.
He renovated his apartment but the leakages jeopardize his build-in furnitures, especially in the kitchen and Utility areas.

As I am in no position to pay for the repairs, the neighbor paid for them himself.
He said he was touched by my son telling him that when he works and earning, will try to pay back.
My ex have not been paying monthly support for the past 3 years!
My 2 sons are in school and me not working.
We have no income and through these years, my siblings are helping me out.

After a few failed attempts of changing water pipes in various areas, another plumber suggested to bypass the existing pipes that were concealed in the flooring and run surface water pipes.
Again, we told the neighbor that we can't even pay a portion of the cost.
So again the neighbor undertake to pay for his installation of water pipes to my apartment.

These pipes are unsightly and they are invasive too.
They break through the kitchen cabinets and spoil them forever.

Well?
We can't afford conceal piping!

Does this solve the leakage problem for the downstairs' neighbor?

Sadly No!

Cheers all.
