The above article reported that the crab farmers are unscrupulously feeding all kinds of chemicals that are harmful to human to the crabs.



Their motive?
To reap more income by speeding up the growing process of crabs from 2 years to 1 year and to the markets!

Likewise, eels; turtles; and many other live animals are fed the same to speed up growth and shorten the rearing time, in order to rush these "products" to the market in the shortest possible time!

I remember dining on these in Suzhou, China about 6 years ago!
Hahaha!
I remember that the farmer told me that the government restrict harvesting and there is a daily limit in place.
So too many fakes are able to flood the market and their prices become cheaper but the goods are greatly detrimental to one's health.

Money Vs Health!



O! I ate some too at a Korean restaurant in Shanghai. These are smaller and they claimed that these are imported from Korea and air-flown in. Only 3 to 5 pieces a day.

So are the Korean ones safe?



Dear Fellow Singaporeans, what you eat at home is mostly safe as there are stringent measures in place by our local Health authority with regards to food for our consumption.

Although unseen or little known, you are cared for by a caring government.


Understanding the Human Mind is also Cultivation!
Application of Buddha Dharma is also Cultivation!

Wake up!

Be discerning please, do not "poison" yourself in any aspect!
