What is Core doing?
If they but listen attentively to Guru, they would have heard more than once that Guru said: Theoretical enlightenment should be followed by diligent cultivation, then Sight Path & Affirmed Path.

The writer is too fast to Pronounce some one wrong & even adding that this person is a scholar ..... making his "attack" more lethal!

One do not use parts of Dharma to hurt others.
But One can use Dharma to educate!
Core's intention can be read as trying to Best Me & others that don't agree with them, with Thus Have I Heard, like Putting GM's approval on all they choose to churn out!
They tried very hard to Prove themselves Credible!
Because I stated that they Faked Guru's words for their own private agenda!
They are also using Thus Have I Heard to Harm others in misleading others!
Also Guru is very much alive & this phrase is not required at all!
IF there are no video recording, then whatever they churned out should be thoroughly & minutely Examine!

There is truly no absolute right & wrong, all boils down to usage!
The writer sort of "look down" on this phrase too!
Simple meaning of this phrase seems to be complicated by the writer as he picks it as his POINT!
What Ananda is sharing is from recollection of what he heard during his servitude of Buddha, so whats wrong with starting his sharing with Thus Have I Heard?
Also he was told by Buddha to use it!
In my case, I use - GM said or Shizun said.
And all can be substantiated by GM's written and spoken materials, Widely available!
GM said that Hearing the Same Dialogue or Speech, BUT Interpretation and Understand can be miles apart!
The recent Sue defamators is a good example!
Guru vowed not to sue anyone in this lifetime, YET the thought to sue others, purportedly on Behalf of Guru was initiated by Core!
In Tantrayana, it is given that ALL students abide Root Guru's teachings & ways!
Why do something that Root Guru already Pledge Not to Do?
When One does anything against Root Guru's teachings, One looses the Ancestral Lineage & results in Not Being Able to Achieve Guru Yoga!
The Key to Yoga as per Guru & many others as documented IS to Think & Act as per Guru & won't ever do anything that Guru won't do!
Credibility in Buddhism is very much different from the Saha World! Hahaha!
USE Buddha Dharma only for all Buddha's true disciples!
