We are tantric practitioners, not a member of some bureaucratic organisation.
It is a trait of sentient beings to be fond of bossing over others.
Last week I met with a friend who met with the alleged reincarnation of some Tantric Guru
He told me that the reincarnation spoke very advanced concepts just like the ones in the terma book and he was so lucky to have met him.
In my heart I thought:
Could he simplify the advanced teachings to the level that suit you?
Did you understand the teachings?
Or were you just mesmerised with people who could speak very intellectual stuff?
If yes, then it's the same as a teenage girl who screams over meeting the artist of her dream lol.
I didn't mean to demean others, but as you say, should be discerning and must be able to benefit and digest from whatever is teaching us.
Also he told me, he (my friend) now has advanced to a higher level, and can "wenshi" personally.
I told him: you can wenshi then you wenshi whether my observation towards you is right.
Scary it is, to see a person who claim to be able to wenshi but the personality traits are still far from buddha dharma.
The ghosts must be trying to play with him.
Hahaha. Amitabha. Is this buddha dharma or shamanistic ritual lol.

People with Good Memory can recite certain Termas by heart, and this is probably what the friend of the above student encountered!
Take for example, True Buddha Sutra, do you truly get the whole picture of what this sutra shares with you? Hehe!
Now look at this alleged reincarnation carefully, does this person has qualities like our Guru?
Humble and don't brag about knowledge; power; attainment; and gives comfort, joy and warmth whenever you bring him into mind. :)
The one alleged to be Mayura's reincarnation looks so malnourished and has sad and dreary eyes or "pleading for help eyes", which means he also can't help himself!
Some like the self proclaimed III; decks himself up with brocades and backgrounds, but his eyes are mean and calculative and his mouth is wide enough and ever-ready to devour you!
Hahaha! I am not kidding, many that saw his picture, agreed with me!
Even if some are authentic reincarnations, they still need to cultivate to link back to their Origins.
No need to woo & ah, over any of these reincarnations, as you also can attain Buddhahood by diligence in cultivation with your own Root Guru as tutoring guide.
