Just watch a show whereby a pregnant lady was discovered to have ovarian cancer.
Into her 9 weeks of pregnancy, and also this being her first pregnancy, the emotional impact on her and her family are pretty traumatic.
There were 2 options offered.
1. To terminate pregnancy immediately and commence therapy immediately.
2. To wait until she reaches 14 weeks of pregnancy and commence treatment, keeping the fetus alive and carry the pregnancy to birth.
However, this method has its risk too, as the fetus still can be affected by the drugs and etc used for the treatment of the cancer.
The traumatic emotional impact one her spouse's family and her own were great as the granny is still alive and her fear of loss of any family member brings back the pain of loss of her own spouse and children.
Is Cancer a Death Sentence?
Not Absolutely!
With the advances in medical science, prognosis is more cheerful.
What is my point?
For all that has this illness, support from family and friends is a very important requisite.
The patient must maintain a relax and positive mindset to overcome this illness.
Stress is a silent killer in most illnesses!
This must be lowered to the minimum or eliminated.
Turning to Religion?
If this gives the patient and family hope, so that they have positive mindset, why not!
Spiritual/Astral Healing?
This depends on the patient's karmic influences and how much know how the "healer" has!
Guru has healed many and these students have came forward to affirm these miracles!
Is our Root Guru an Authentic Living Buddha? Hahaha!
Needless to answer!
Most certainly, He is!
Students in Core should ignore questions like these put to them by anyone, what more those that won't ever understand, from the defaming camp?
Even students of Root Guru also think they can harm Guru or control or dictate his every move, what more those non-students?
Look at Self first, before you hit at others!
No matter how high or superior you think of yourself, as long as you took refuge with Living Buddha Lian Sheng, you are same as all, students of Root Guru, Living Buddha Lian Sheng!
If you think otherwise, then you don't even understand or bother to understand the very Fundamentals of Buddha Dharma!
