Lotuschef in Chat – Refuge & Bardo

Guru giving the refuge empowerment

Terjemahan Indonesia: Lotuschef Bercakap-cakap – Sarana (berlindung) & Penyeberangan Bardo

The following is extracted from the Live Animal Release Sadhana:
[15. Transmit the Fourfold Refuge (Participants visualize the Root Guru radiate three great lights and chant the following 3 times):
  1. Namo Guru bei. Taking refuge in Living Buddha Lian-sheng, you shall not fall into the evil path.
  2. Namo Buddha ye. Taking refuge in the Buddha, you shall not fall into the hell realm.
  3. Namo Dharma ye. Taking refuge in the Dharma, you shall not fall into the hungry ghost realm.
  4. Namo Sangha ye. Taking refuge in the Sangha, you shall not fall into the animal realm.

Recitation conductor chants:
You, the children of Buddha, take refuge in the lineage gurus of True Buddha School, the Root Guru and Triple Jewels. From now on, you address Namo Enlightened Holy Red Crown Vajra Master Living Buddha Lian-sheng as your guru. You shall not take refuge in other gurus. You shall not fall into the hell, hungry ghosts, nor animal realms. You have taken refuge in the Root Guru and Triple Jewels.]

Like students said that I am not doing White matter chanting the way the other reverends have been doing for long time!

Hahaha! I wish to inform all those that think this way, that [White matter chanting has a Standardise version taught by Seattle and Taiwan Temples], and the ones that were done by those reverends that have been doing for a long time, are Personal Versions of their own. Also most of them DID NOT attend training at either temples.

As I have advised repeatedly, have a good look at those reverends and compare them with Guru. Why some had white matter chanting done, but still hanging around?

In Guru’s words: These students have yet to yoga with me.

When you can’t invoke Guru’s presence, what you do is frivolous and a waste of resources and in certain situations, YOU, can be considered as a Religious Cheat!

Recently there are students that ask me why Bardo were done and yet their loved ones didn't go upwards as promised.

For information to all:

There are many factors affecting the "directions or locations" of where one goes after death.

That's why I said will only do Bardo delivery or white matter chanting, if the Deceased take refuge with Guru. WHY!

For those of you that have helped Deceased take refuge in Guru, the above for live animal release apply too. What matters is that the Deceased is a disciple of Guru and that Guru has been informed via fax or email of the person passing on.

Guru actually does most of the work of Bardo delivery and not those that invented or created their own version of White matter chanting, or just as Guru said: Mimic only.

Many white matter chanting here done by so called "masters", they smoke and drink and utter 4-letters words all the time. These are just going through the motion and their charges are high, more than SGD 10 thousands.

And their deceased clients almost always did not get delivered properly at all.

I recall my first visit to Nirvana memorial gardens, there are so many unhappy souls there in every halls where ashes or tablets were placed. These obviously did not get delivered at all!

I sat down in one of the halls, facing my dear buddy, Ksitigarbha, and started Rebirth Mantra in dedication to the souls or spirits there. Nowadays, visiting there feels like going home! We did quite a few events there as dedication and all cost on us.

Well, this is Boddhicitta too.

Be thankful to Guru that you are a student in TBS and whatever mess created by anyone from TBS or otherwise, Guru always does the clean up to make everything auspicious and fulfilling.
