LC: Hi guys these are some goodies I extracted from the author's introduction
however, something is spooking me since guru talks about the timing to cultivate: that is Full month n crescent moon as per lunar calendar
This one also talks about wax moon n wan moon... as timing to cultivate certain practice
I think someone should tell that these timing should be adhered to by those cultivators from the start only; once you got the "hang of it" , you "memorised" it; n you can use at anytime irregardless of full moon or not.
Because Time is in your control n the universe too when you are Buddha!

if no one say anything, those die-hard stick to only can use when there is a full moon kind of rule or they made it LAW!

I'm translating the Bhumis article for the readers and at the same time I learn a lot as well.
I hope they know after reading it (again) that people who took the vow don't necessarily enter into the first bhumi.
It requires them to practise the path of accumulation and preparation before accomplishing into the first bhumi. How scary that is.
It is reiterated (again) that all actions should be preceded with bodhicitta. How many are aware of it?! Not sure!
And regarding the time, I have the same thought as yours when reading the related part. As guru has elaborated during the Kalachakra puja in Indo, that the time can be compressed and adjusted.
As per the end note from guru rinpoche stated there: intelligent people ought to analyse.....

it make sense to buy the book if you want to really read n have some views from others and not too rigid as to stick to only one view

so one who has learnt can apply at anytime n not wait for full moon or half moon! Hahaha!

BB: Yup, there are auspicious timings for beginner to increase merits.
Anyway, this 14 and 28 will have solar and moon eclipse.
It is said during end/beginning of lunar month there are eclipse in other place, thats why it is auspicious time to do more practice, offering and other good things.
No lar, how can i teach Fashi, i m just sharing and learn lots from both Fashi and AA. HD says Fashi's blog is so nice, why? Because Fashi elaborates the articles, so readers can get the essence / hidden meaning. Though reading.the same book, but the level.of understanding.are different he7..
