Script/Edict [疏文/符]
The Script has Power in that it invoke Guru & all Divinities mentioned within to bless/empower named individuals or group for a purpose. example:- bardo deliverance.
The Edict [also called a Talisman] has an order written on it for a named purpose. Example:- for good health or cleanse a premise.
GM teaches us to cultivate and chant mantra then we follow the steps as taught to write these scripts/edicts. Writing them also need GM's personal empowerment.
GM said as long as our intent is TRUE and purpose to help sentient beings alleviate sufferings without ulterior motive for any rewards/returns, these will work very well.
Likewise, verbal requests truly from your heart is heard and GM will arrange matters accordingly.
So talk to GM as often as possible.
Listen to GM as much as possible from his writings or Dharma speeches.
As long as your intent is Good & True, Paper or verbal will work.
