Rainbow Body Attainment Book 1 - Tantrayana

This is a brief summary of the chapter found on page 11 to 13.

Guru explained the difference between Eastern & Tibetan Tantrayana.
The Eastern or Japanese sector concentrates more on External then Internal cultivation.
Eastern will decorate their altars or shrines beautifully, and also the Fire Puja kits and also their Sadhanas.

For example in fire puja we offer to Divinities & Deities, this is external tantra.
However, when you light up inner fire to burn up all your problems/sufferings together with those in your circulatory system or channels, until transformation into Light. This is Internal puja.

Inner puja or Inner tantra is Inner or Heart cultivation and External Tantra or puja is for request of blessing; clear negatives/calamities; respect and love; suppression; increase benefits.

It is important to cultivate Internal together with External as one's body will clear away negatives and clear channels to light up with Fire and then with Light, and using this Light to merge with the Universal Light. This is Cleansing & purifying method, with Heart or Inner cultivation.

However, without external tantra, you won't know how to be Dignified.
Sentient beings visit temples and sit for a while and claimed that they have cultivated a session.
This is all external only.

A true session of Cultivation must combine Inner & external methods.
When you are Bright inside, similar with Universal Brightness, and merge harmoniously, this then is true Samadhi, else no Samadhi and no meditative stillness.

Dear readers,
Hope you understand that every cultivation session you do, you need to combine both Internal & External Tantra practices.

I shared this article because at last week fire puja, I talked about dressing properly and sitting properly during cultivation.
What needs to be covered, do not expose!

Respect the Divinities and also deck yourself nicely and sit with dignity, to show you are truly committed to cultivation and offering.

There are more interesting articles in this book and I will try to find time to share more.

Cheers all. :)
