彌勒菩薩賜蓮生活佛一部《通天之書》，彌勒菩薩言：「我有一本《通天之書》，現在贈與你，放入你心際，你若有難，翻開一看，自能解之。此《通天之書》，能令你萬事如意，逢凶化吉，其中有萬萬法，對治萬萬劫難，助你度化眾生也。」
Maitreya gifted Living Buddha Liansheng a book <The Divine Book>, Maitreya said:[ I have a book <The Divine Book>, I now gift to you, put into your heart chakra, when you meet with difficulties, turn open the book & have a look, and you will get answers to settle your difficulties. This book can help make all matters as you wish them to be, turn dangerous situation into auspiciousness, there are thousands upon thousands of method within towards overcoming thousands upon thousands of dangerous incidents, help you to save sentient beings.]
作者言，此《通天之書》果然是一部無所不知，無所不曉的天書－－「知」，令作者於甚深禪定中，上達各天界，遇見達摩祖師、屈原、文成公主、比干、許由等歷史人物，知其所想知；「曉」，解答作者心中疑惑，通曉宇宙星宿祕密，曉其疑中惑；原來人世間地、水、火、風的災劫，自是有其因緣。

[Know], enable the author to travel to all areas of heaven in deep meditation, meeting Boddhidharma,(Zen Founding Guru), Qu yuan, Princess Wen Cheng, Bi Gan, Xu You & etc historical personalities, knowing their thoughts;
[Understanding], resolving author's innermost queries, understanding the mystery of the universe & stars, understanding their innermost system; so the earthly elements like earth, water, fire, wind that cause disasters all have their deriving & causative meaning.
