The recent Fire puja on the 7-8-2011, most of the attendees did special dedication for their ancestors.
Some did for deceased parents, grandparents of paternal & maternal lineage & one did for an uncle as well.
It is extremely easy to be filial to ancestors & all you need is to get a package of incense & write the ones you are dedicating the offerings to. [see above]
Pure karma has special packages for you to do so too, if you are interested.
A talisman/edict [符令] is included so that the ones receiving the dedication will get them.
The showers of light orbs give evidence of the BIG Party that took part in the fire puja as well as those on the receiving end of the offerings & blessings.
The next day, a fellow student called me telling me that her spouse who is sickly never had a good night sleep for a long period already. But that night after fire puja dedication to his ancestors, they had the 1st good night & slept like babies. The next night also the same.
I did a refuge for the ancestors & bardo deliverance package too.
