RV: Is that your sister? (pointing to a lady that has almost same bone structure as AA)

AA: Yes. She has heart surgery last year.

But she is lucky to have grandchild and I still don't have.

RV: O! If you view this from Buddha's dharma angle, having more relatives mean you have more Entanglements that tie you down to this Life only. :)

Health is the most important.

What did I "see"?

The one that her brother perceived as "Lucky" or fortunate, has poor health.

The brother has this thing about having grandchildren means "lucky" or has merits.

Agitating over the lack of something is Self created Sentient Suffering!

Remember a fellow student, JY, that I wrote about?

He told me he can teach me to get "powerful" very fast!

His method?

To visualise lots of Buddhas & Boddhisattvas giving blessing empowerment/transmission to lots of "Clones" of himself!

Means he visualises that there are lots of him receiving blessing empowerment at the same instant! :)

I just smile and kept quiet!

If he Use Boddhicitta and transform all beings into himself and then receiving the blessing empowerment at the same time, then he will move up in Phala levels very fast, AND not "Get powerful very fast" - in his terms or mindset, means he will have lots of Astral/Transcendental abilities in a very short time!

From his speech, we read his Mind!

JY has no inkling of what is True Cultivation of Buddha Dharma at all!

O! There were various instances that he attempted to teach me and reprimand me saying that I lack the right version of Buddha Dharma! :)

JY is the one that told me that a Fashi can't watch movie!

Also sent me full length transcripts of GM Lu's speeches that touches on "No Thought"! 

Hahaha! He can't pinpoint the exact definition of "No Thought"!

I stated that if JY can use 20 words to define "No thought", then he truly understand! 

A person that has yet to even leave "Nursery" or Foundation to move to the first rung of the Dharma Cultivation Ladder, has really nothing to impart of authentic Buddha Dharma!

Sad to tell most of you that you are also in this category, "Nursery" pool.

The reason?

You didn't arm yourself well with the relevant dharma know-how to step out of "Nursery" at all!

Whats important for one that has taken refuge and vowed to cultivate Buddha Dharma?

Your refuge vow is one of Wish Boddhicitta and this vow is about how to USE Buddha Dharma to reduce suffering and share happiness with all beings!

Mouthing words and sentences in a Sadhana doesn't help at all, if you have no understanding at all of what you are uttering!

The Truth is not palatable to you?

You think you have done well in Dharma cultivation and you have been at it for many years?

Look at yourself honestly and objectively, then truly answer your own question of how much do you really know about Dharma Cultivation?

Deluded by your own Illusions and that of others in the same category of "Nursery"?

Wake up!

禅宗公案 Zen Koan – 心与性 Heart & Nature

有一学僧至南阳慧忠国师处参学，请示道：
A student monk went to study from Nan Yang Hui Zhong Guo Shi (State Master – normally the king's adviser), asking for teaching, said:

　　
‘禅－是心的别名，而“心”是在佛不增，

"Zen is heart's other name, and Heart is No Increasing Buddha,

在凡不减的真如实性，禅宗祖师们将此“心”易名为“性”，

In mortal realm, not decreasing true inherent buddha nature, Zen Patriarchs commonly named this Heart as Nature,

请问禅师，心与性之差别如何？’

please Zen Master, what is the difference between Heart and Nature?"

慧忠毫不隐藏的回答道：

Hui Zhong answered without any hold back:

‘迷时则有差别，悟时则无差别。　　　　　　

"When Lost then have difference, when Enlightened then no difference."

学僧又再进一步的问道：

Student monk proceed further and asked:

‘经上说：佛性是常，心是无常，为什么你会说无差别呢？’
"Sutra said: Buddha nature is permanent, Heart is impermanent, why do you say no difference?"

慧忠国师耐烦的举喻说明道：

Hui Zhong Guo Shi patiently gave example and said:

‘你只依语而不依义，譬如寒时结水成冰，暖时融冰成水；迷时结性成心，悟时融心成性，心性本同，依迷悟而有所差别。’

"You only adhere to language (Words) and not adhere to meaning, such as when cold form ice with water, when warm melt ice into water; when lost form nature as heart, when enlightened form heart as nature, heart and nature originally the same, the difference is present dependent on Lost or enlightened."

学僧终于契会于心。
Student monk finally put these statements in his heart.　
　　　　

在佛教里，心性的别名很多，如‘本来面目’，‘如来藏’、‘法身’、‘实相’、‘自性’、‘真如’、‘本体’、‘真心’、‘般若’、‘禅’等等。

这无非是用种种方法要吾人认识自己。

迷悟虽有差，本性则无异。

如黄金是一，但可制耳环、戒指、手镯等各种不同之金器，故金器虽异，实一黄金耳。

明乎此，心与性名虽不同，实则皆吾人之本体也。

Coincidentally, I was pondering on "One's Willpower" in Cultivation of Tantrayana!

YES! 

How One can "WILL" or mobilise Qi or Light energy in execution at will or 任运!

Of course, you must have knowledge like the above of whether there is any difference between your heart and your nature!

Remember that I am sharing "USE" of Buddha Dharma though.

Like cooking, One learns how to mix and match different ingredients to the utmost satisfaction of the diner/diners.

See now, why GM Lu bestowed the name of "Chef" to me?

任运－用 Execute at Will – USE [1]

In 2009 May, months before my first trip to Seattle and being ordained.

In a discussion of doing "Live Animal Release"practice:
I suggested that if we can't find a venue off shore then we do by the shore AND
using the Dorje to draw a HOM syllable in the sky and beam light to bless all Land, Sea & Air creatures.

Reverend LL said: I cannot do that, too ridiculous and Core will kill me! 
［太炫了！宗委会会杀死我！］- he means ridiculous here

Hahaha!

Dear all,
With the sharing of Maha Mudra and Maha Perfection Dharma by GM Lu, I am sure that most of you can now understand that what I suggested to the then reverend LL is what GM Lu taught as Execute at Will 任运!

When a fellow student compared me to a VM who went around a lake for more than 4 hours, ringing the bell and using the dorje to bless creatures in the lake, I told him that this VM has no inkling of Tantrayana at all!

WHY?
The same application or USE of the Dorje to light up a HOM syllable to shine on Land Sea Air will get all creatures blessed and cleanse too!
As I have stated, less than 30 seconds!

Ringing the Vajra Bell helps to spread the light or blessing further too, covering the whole global earth if One so please! :)

Does being a reverend change One's abilities?
Frankly speaking: Not really!

Does reverend LL knows how to go about USING the HOM syllable that I shared with him?

Hahaha!
He don't know what I am sharing is Maha Mudra & Maha Perfection Dharma!

Of course, the mechanics of how to draw a HOM in the sky and light it up is something that One must have the keys to!

I shared a similar method during the Medan event this August 15!

Now, look through this blog's articles carefully and see how many other methods I shared in [USE]!

If GM Lu can, then you can too!

Hahaha!

Requirement: Your sincerity and diligence in Cultivation for the benefit of all beings!

Do not get too fixated about climbing levels in cultivation;

Likewise Titles, are just Sentient classification for convenience only.

From the student's written statements, we can see that he is going around in circles TRYING very hard to Push Through HIS Views!

Hahaha!

This is yet another that wastes his limited Time in this life on frivolous pursuits of EGO maintenance!

He likes to "Tell" others, what is Right & Wrong too!

He told me that "Fashi, should not watch movies or TV" !

He is also that One that attempted to trick me into using my "powers" to eliminate 2 female ghosts from a flat that he is marketing!

Told me to sit behind him during cultivation to SEE whether he is doing "入定" or Meditation or Enter Samadhi, correctly or not! 

Told me that he will instruct the Dharmapalas guarding his residence to let me in, to check whether he can do "Enter Samadhi" correctly or not! (He said he does cultivation every morning and around 7:30am. he will be at the "Enter Samadhi" stage.)

Told me how to get more "power" faster too! - Articles in this blog like "Speedy way to get power"....

He MUST watch Livecast in real time and not the recorded version!

Well?

From his mindset, has his mind developed or advanced in the Cultivation Ladder?

NO!

He is even MORE Burdened with Sentient Material & Matters, tying himself more firmly or tightly to the Sentient Realm and Samsaric Cycle!

He has also "disappeared" after his opinions are published in this blog and his Facebook account also changed and securely locked by him.

The above articles somehow coincidentally were presented to me on the same day but different timing! :)

However, readership of both articles differ greatly and most probably due to lack of understanding of [1], which has great depth! :)

Lotus NN showed me the quote [1] from Facebook of Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

I asked him to share with me and I am going to post it in my blog.

Then I went searching for GM Lu's 31-1-2015's Dharma Speech and found the write up only in TBS' website.

I verbally translated parts of the speech to Lotus NN.

He said: Fashi, this is very similar to what you shared with me for Assignment [3] about Void & Existence.

Me: Yup. Such a coincidence that you shared Dilgo's statements with me too.

Both GM's & Dilgo's statements are basically from Padma Guru too! :)

Dear all, 

Just one topic from Padma Guru can be expressed & shared in different context.

Let us recap from the wonderful "Flower Adornment Sutra" or "Avatamsaka Sutra"!

Buddha has infinite Dharma or methods or ways to succour Each Individual Being!

AND according or respective to their levels of Karmic Influences which underlying factors like Affinity, Wisdom, .... determined an Individual's acceptance of Buddha's Dharma or philosophy, and subsequent actions.

Execute at Will ???

It is dependent upon an Individual's karmic influences which resultant is the ability to decipher, analyse, select, and use or execute Dharma learnt!

Student X claimed that she has cultivated as per taught!

BUT she also alleged that every time she visited Z's place, she somehow "Ka-ying" (means caught some negative thingy)!

Then she also suggested another Probable as "Clash with Taisui or Duty Star Magistrate of the current year"!

She didn't exhibit or show any signs of Steadfast Faith in her Root Guru, GM Lu!

Needless to say, she also failed to Execute at ease and at will the Immeasurable Goodies that GM Lu shared!

Failure to absorb and retain teachings for use "When Necessary"!

Hahaha!

And shijie Y, also didn't exhibit any signs of Understanding GM Lu's teachings too!

Dear all, do you see the need now to ARM Self with Fundamentals or Basics of Buddha Dharma before you proceed in Cultivation of Tantric Dharma? 

Pure Karma will change Dharma Propagation path with immediate effect!

Only those that are really sincere in learning cultivation and all it entails, will be admitted to our sessions.

Homa will only be conducted in Private with selected few and open to public when necessary.

Change or Transform is a necessary part of advancement in cultivation.

If you can't follow or don't concur with our methods, please look elsewhere for those that can share Authentic Buddha Dharma with you!

No need to defame, slander or scold anyone too!

考量而用 Contemplate & Use

Quoting from Dharma talk 7 November 2009 in Seattle/2009年11月7日于西雅图开示:

[--- I took refuge on the 3 August 2008. Early morning of 3 August 2009, all the Buddhas & Boddhisattvas came to celebrate my 1st birthday with True Buddha School. They seem to tell me to come home & rejoin the Team.

During this period of my stay in Seattle, especially after GM's Dharma speech after fire homa, he urges us all to spread True Buddha Tantric Dharma to all, I realised yet another part to my dream of 4 August 2008.

GM asked me to give the Longevity Elixir to all sentient being surrounding me, that is to spread True Buddha Tantric Dharma to all.

I ask: GM is this correct?

Therefore, our GM is incredible. At the time I took refuge, he already tasked me with spreading True Buddha Tantric Dharma.

I wish to add that we have to truly bear in mind, GM's teachings. 

GM teaches us to cultivate vajrasattva & padmakumara yoga well. 

Actually these two practices are truly amazing. 

I recently realized that they contains many variations. 

I have also told GM about these variations.

When chanting GM's mantra, I found myself in the centre of the Earth. 

As I chant, the power of the mantra pushes all the negatives outwards. 

As these leave the Earth's surface, countless GM covered the Earth's surface.

If we compare with the Thousand multiplier Wheel mantra, these one multiplies by the number of sentient beings on Earth. 

Isn't this more powerful than the Thousand multiplier?

But what I realized recently is that this evolved from 4 immeasurable visualisation.

We treat all sentient being as self. 

During cultivation we transform them into self. 

Then when we merge with say GM, they all became GM too. 

All these from 4 immeasurable vows. ---]

Now, on 22 June 2014, I asked all before Cultivation, anyone has questions to ask? 

No Response!

So I said: either you all know everything, or you don't know anything, so nothing to clarify. :)

Later I explained about Effective cultivation.

When One diligently cultivate one session, its effectiveness surpasses those that not diligent a thousand or ten thousands times!

Now on 29 June 2014, I asked before Cultivation, any questions?

Again, No Response! 

GM said on Sunday, that because VM LY asked, so he answers or explains!

Let us get out your 4 Noble Truths and let us journey! :)

[ SL: Dear Fa-Shi,
GM is really great!

I was planned and start to chart 1000 times 高王經 in May. 

Today is the finale and happened to receive this email. 

Seems like GM knew someone need help in advance. :-)  ] 

Now let us scrutinise the Underlined text. :)

Not the grammar but the "motive" and "intent".

From the passage:

1. SL's motive is to achieve 1000 times of High King Sutra - WHY?

2.He believes that this numbers as per GM will be effective towards certain Wishes or Requests.

3.There is an Intent that Motivated the sudden decision in May to chant 1000 times of this sutra.

4. Then the email seeking help came to him & he deducted it as a signal from GM to provide Help.

Hahaha! 

There is No Doubt that GM is Great! :)

What's my point?

Now applying the knowledge of Buddha Dharma & Philosophy:-

1. From Heart Sutra - we know that we should not have any wishes, or expect any returns with sharing of Buddha Dharma.

2. Refer to the previous article, GM said he never intentionally do something to get returns like the Nobel Prize. So Not Intent Motivated for any Sentient Material!

3. Why need to count the number of times?

Means he has use for each 1000 he chant.

In Dharma Charity, everything One does is spontaneous & what GM said: Natural.

4. This student has forgotten what I taught him! :)

In Dharma Charity, we need to apply Buddha's Philosophy and Dharma = Methods.

5. If we want Numbers: 

[ If we compare with the Thousand multiplier Wheel mantra, these one multiplies by the number of sentient beings on Earth.

There really is no need to count at all, IF this student Chant with the Visualisation of Transformation into a Light Bulb!

He will then have shared all the blessing from all Divinities mentioned in the Sutra with All Beings!

Question: Does he still have a 1000 times of this Sutra to "Give" if he does the "Light Bulb" method?

Now, he thinks he has the 1000 times of this Sutra to "give"! 

So he has not listen well to my sharing and he has the mindset of using this 1000 times, for a Purpose he has in mind before he started chanting!

Now, just this Sunday, GM said he actually do not need to cultivate anymore as he has already attained Buddhahood and Maha Mudra of which the peak is No Cultivation Yoga! :)

I remember sharing that ONCE you "switch on" the light bulb within you, You have no need to switch off or on again.

You are always lighted up and giving out these lights too to ALL, with no time limits or space contraints.

Key? You have to just open up your Heart and share with all or give to all!

This is Boddhicitta, the Heart & Soul of Buddhas.

Never for Self, but for Others always!

You are a mobile Light Bulb, dispensing Light or Universal energy every where you are. You are a Buddha now!

Now, GM also said on Sunday, that while cropping or shaving Buddha's hair, a disciple is in 3rd Level of Zen Meditation. 

What are the requisites for this? 

Have you really listen to GM while he is sharing all these goodies?
