Di sesi tersebut, Mahaguru Lu membahas tentang Nasib Baik & Penuh Keberuntungan! :)

Beliau mengatakan bahwa saat sedang mengunjungi sebuah restoran untuk makan, transaksi bisnis di resto naik hingga tiga kali lipat di hari itu.

Itu terjadi sebelum beliau ditahbiskan menjadi bhiksu.

Namun, keberuntungan tersebut masih berlanjut sampai sekarang ini di manapun Mahaguru Lu berada!

Di tulisan kali ini, aku juga akan membangikan pengalamanku yang hampir sama.

Saat aku masih muda, bibiku akan meminta ibuku untuk mengantarkanku ke tokonya.

Ia bilang bahwa selama aku berdiri di salah satu sudut di dekat tokonya, transaksi bisnisnya di hari itu menjadi sangat bagus.

Hal yang sama terjadi juga di berbagai tempat makan dan bisnis yang aku kunjungi.

Di Melbourne, Australia, ada toko es krim yang bisnisnya menjadi bagus saat aku datang berkunjung.

Seorang ibu dari salah seorang mahasiswa yang tinggal di tempat kos yang sama dengan anakku ikut pergi bersamaku dan berkomentar bahwa si bos es krim memberiku porsi yang lebih besar dengan harga yang sama dengan yang dibayarnya!

Hahaha!

Apakah ini pilih kasih???

Toko lain di dekat apartemenku menjual makanan alla barat.

Suatu malam di saat musim siaran langsung pertandingan sepak bola, si pemilik resto tak mengharapkan bisnis yang banyak karena banyak yang menonton dari rumah.

Namun setelah aku melakukan pesanan, ada kerumunan banyak orang yang tiba-tiba datang mengantri untuk memesan makanan darinya juga!

Ia memperhatikan tren ini selama beberapa saat dan mengatakan bahwa aku membawa bisnis baginya.

Hahaha!

Dan makanan yang ia hidangkan untukku?

Aku disuguhi porsi yang lebih besar!

In the above session, GM Lu talks about Auspiciousness! :)

He said that whenever he visited a restaurant to eat, the business of that place tripled up for that day.

These happened before he become ordained as a monk.

However, these auspiciousness is still true wherever GM Lu is even now! 

In this blog, I also shared similar experiences of mine.

When I am young, my auntie would tell my mother to bring me to her store.

She said that as long as I stand at a corner of anyplace near her store, her business for that day is very good.

This happened also to eating places and other businesses that I visited.

There is this Ice cream parlour in Melbourne, Australia, that sees good business whenever I visited.

A mother of another student staying at the same boarding house as my daughter that went along with me, commented that the boss gave me a bigger scoop of ice cream for the same price that she paid for hers! 

Hahaha! 

Favouritism???

Another store near my apartment sells western food.

One night, during the football live cast season, the owner wasn't expecting much business as most stay wormed up watching live cast.

After I placed my order, a large crowd stood in line to order food from him as well!

He noticed this trend for a while and told me that I bring business to him.

Hahaha!

The meals that he served up to me?

Larger portions!

If you have similar experiences throughout your life from young, then you have cultivated Sincere Offering for a sizeable time during all your past existences! 

That means that some time in your past lifetimes, you have done something beneficial to all as well as self!

Nenek saya kondisi kesehatanya sangat buruk dalam 2 hari terakhir ini dan kami kira beliau tidak dapat bertahan lagi.
Tetapi hari ini tiba tiba beliau terlihat lebih terjaga. Apakah itu merupakan suatu tanda akan pergi meninggalkan dunia ini?
Apakah kita harus mulai melakukan Sesi Pelayanan Pembacaan Sutra dan Mantra Guna Mengiringi Seseorang Yang Dikira Sudah Akan Meninggal alias tidak mampu bertahan hidup lagi?

Curhat kepada Guru Akar

Fashi yang Terkasih,

Bukanlah hal yang gampang untuk meminta nenek saya agar merelakan semuanya; juga tidak gampang meminta beliau supaya harus tetap menjapa dan memvisualisasikan Guru sedang tersenyum kepada beliau. Sungguh bukan hal yang gampang sama sekali.

Melihat beliau terbaring di ranjang membuat hati saya sungguh sedih. Sebelum dapat mengatakan sesuatu keluar dari mulut saya, saya merasa sudah mau menangis.

Untung saja Fashi selalu mengingatkan kita agar selalu curhat kepada Guru.

Jadi pagi ini saya memberitahu Guru agar memberikan saya keberanian untuk menyampaikan semua hal ini kepada nenek saya tanpa membiarkan diri saya menangis.

Dan saya berhasil. Saya merasa sangat senang sekarang. Saya memberitahu dia dan dia mengangguk kepada saya.

Saya tahu Shizun akan membawa beliau ke Tanah Suci jika tiba saatnya.

Terima kasih selalu mengingatkan kita untuk berbicara kepada Guru. Hal itu efektif.

Teman-teman terkasih, sebenarnya apa tujuan Berbicara/Curhat kepada Guru?

1. Anda membangun iman untuk MEMPERCAYAI 100% atau Penuh Guru Akar Anda.
2. Anda secara bertahap memperpendek jarak antara Guru Akar Anda dengan diri Anda sendiri.
3. Anda akan melatih diri dengan baik dengan Iman  demikian terhadap bimbingan dari Guru Akar Anda.
4. Anda belajar untuk tetap Tenang dan Berpikir Jernih serta mengaplikasikan pengetahuan Buddha Dharma untuk memecahkan masalah Anda sendiri yang kemudian membebaskan diri Anda dari banyaknya penderitaan duniawi.

Manfaatnya tak terkira! :)

Jangan merintangi diri Anda sendiri dengan berpikir bahwa Anda tidak mampu menjangkau Guru Akar Anda sendiri!
Berlatihlah dengan Iman penuh terhadap Guru Akar dan Diri Sendiri dan Anda pun juga dapat menolong orang lain cara yang sama.

Berbagi kebaikan dengan orang lain tanpa diskriminasi, membeda-bedakan maka Anda sedang mempraktikkan Bodhicitta!

In late 2009, a group of Indonesian students went to Seattle to invite Guru to go to Indonesia to host Event. You can refer back to the recorded videos and write-ups for that period to verify these.

In 2010, we were told that Guru will host an event on 19 February 2011 in Jakarta. However, this was cancelled and Guru went around to chapters instead. WHY?

Remember Karawachi? Guru was escorted by army tanks all the way?

Now 2010, October in Melbourne, Guru has bodyguards by his sides when he showed up at Yan Ming Temple!!!

這世界上，有一些都是有政治性的，其實，宗教也是幾乎快變成政治的另外一邊，政治本來就是群眾運動，宗教本身來講也是一種群眾運動之一....
Guru: In this world, some are political.

In fact, Religious Sector too, almost transform into another side of Politics. 

Politics in fact is a group movements, Religion also can be said as one of the group movements....


當然，我不能講哪一個國家是這樣講的，他們是宗教==幫派，幫派==展現實力，他們是這樣解釋的.
Of course, I won't say this is from which country, they are [Religion = Gang/Organized Sector, Gang = Show of Strength], this is how they explained.


Hahaha! Is Guru hinting to all that he knows that some of them are doing exactly these?
That is SHOW OF GANG'S STRENGTH OR POWER!!!

Today, we cultivate Amitabha Buddha's sadhana, why suddenly talk about Politics and Religions?


其實我們的宗派主要是修行，除此之外，沒有其他的了，.......

Actually our Sector's main objective is to Cultivate, there is nothing other than this already, .....  ]]]

Do you know that An Anonymous sent a letter direct to Guru's office in Seattle, THREATENING TO KILL HIM IF HE SETS FOOT ON INDONESIAN SOIL?

What did Guru do to resolve this THREAT?

Who are the people that tried to stop Guru and with what reasons?

Now, lets see how good most Indonesian students' memory powers are! :)

Remember at one session in Seattle, Guru announced and named Lian Ning as successor?

Hahaha! 

Remember what statements follow?

Well, Guru said: Now that I have a successor, I can go to Indonesia already!!!

All Indonesians present at that session all stood up and clap continuously for a long while!

These are all documented in my blog too!!!

To go to Indonesia, Guru was forced to named a Successor!!!

The Bodyguards for Melbourne, also another Threat to Guru that SOMEONE created!!!

NOW, who do you think is the MASTERMIND behind all these?

Who stands to benefit from all these?

WHO is the Director of the Letter telling Guru that 'Now you have Successor, you can Resign'?

We know the blue-collar dharma speaker wrote the Letter, but who is his BOSS?

Most of us know who he kow-tow to and always seen around with too!!!

For all Indonesian and Melbourne Students, please cultivate diligently to thank Guru for braving all odds to come to your country or state!!!

Pay attention to Guru's speech and use Wisdom of Discernment to decipher Guru's statements and what Guru wants to tell you!

Take control of your own Destiny and with Guru's guidance and diligent cultivation, leave Samsara far far behind!!!

As to what I am and what I can or cannot do, Really Really Not Important to your cultivation success!

YOU are the only One responsible for your own Destiny and not me!!!

Stop scolding me or slandering me if you are a True and Authentic Buddha's student!!!

Hahaha! 

A person without Wisdom to decipher Guru's statements and take those false ones churned by Core or Lian Ning to be True Always; YOU have a long long way to crawl out of the dark pit that YOU let Core and other masters Lead you into!!!

Whether I am still a Fashi or not also not important to you!

If you have True Affinity with Buddha, you will not even be bothered about what Core's chairman chooses to do to secure and hang onto his Sentient Empire!!!

Guru said: Sentient world is not important! But the one up there is!!!

Thats where we should all aim to go!

Lotuschef can set up Pure Karma School or Big White Lotus Sector as a separate entity BUT still students of Living Buddha Lian Sheng, Grandmaster Lu; not a fake Living Buddha Lian Sheng, XXX!

As long as we are propagating Authentic Buddha Dharma and succoring as much sentient being as we possibly can, we are TRUE to our individual samaya vows with our own Root Guru!

If you really understands Guru's speech about Addressing Titles, you will realized that there are Fakes of our Guru everywhere, including Core's members, faking statements to their own benefits and alleging them to be from Guru!!! 

That's why Guru said you should know you are addressing who!

Titles to Guru are also not important, remember?

Don't be too surface in learning from Guru, a Living Buddha! :)

If you are asked to TAKE SIDES NOW; whose side are you on?

Your answer other than MY ROOT GURU, Living Buddha Lian Sheng, Grandmaster Lu, means you breach Samaya between you and your Root Guru!!!

However, you can hand over your destiny and your subsequent lives to others to control and manipulate, if you are too lazy to cultivate and follow anyone other than your own Root Guru!

Choice is always your very own!!!

Your Father is Living Buddha Lian Sheng, Grandmaster Lu? :)

Why am I writing about all these when I keep getting slander; scoldings; accusation of misdeeds; ridiculing; .....?

GM on ATTACHMENT TO SELF IS THE ROOT OF DISTRESSES

ATTACHMENT TO SELF IS THE ROOT OF DISTRESSES

Translated by the TBSN Translation Team At the weekend group-practice session held in Seattle Rey Tseng Temple on June 27th, His Holiness Living Buddha Lian-sheng spoke on "the root of distresses".

His Holiness said, "Attachment to self and the passions of self are the root of distresses. The love that Master Lian Teng has mentioned in his earlier sermon, is actually the passions of self. Freedom is lost after the passions of self is gained. You will therefore be distressed. On the other hand, failure to acquire the passions of self causes depression and disappointment. This will also cause distresses. Afflictions exist within and without the wall.

"I did not intend to get married even when I was thirty. At that time, my classmates and colleagues all remarked that Sheng-yen Lu must be a weirdo; he is the eldest son and yet remained unmarried at thirty. I have all the while been a carefree person. My parents did not hurry me into marriage. My family had never placed restrictions on me; they did not help me in anyway either. I am the carefree type of person.

"I was still single at thirty. My colleagues therefore concluded that I must have been suffering from some physiological defects. This is something that I cannot tolerate. (Grand Master and the audience laugh) I do not mind if you comment that I am a weirdo or whatsoever. These remarks do not affect me. The fact that they said I have physiological defects caused some struggles within me. I am certain that I do not have any physiological defects. (Grand Master laughs)

"I had no choice then! I said jokingly that I would settle for any woman. (Grand Master and the audience laugh) Actually, I did consider seriously over this matter. (Laughter) It is because of this rumor that I got married at the age of thirty. This is to show that I have no physiological defects.

"Last time, I have thought of not getting married. This is because the root of distresses stemmed from the passions of self. When the passions of self is gained, you are worried that you might lose it. Failure to acquire the passions of self also causes afflictions. This calculating mind of gain and loss is the attachment to self. Distresses arise when there is attachment.

"There are many people who because of their participation in political elections, experience a lot of worries. They are concerned with their own reputation, profits, love, children, career and wealth. These are all roots of distresses.

"Lord Buddha preached that one should generate the spirituality of non-self. Generate the spirituality that perceives the self as nothingness and all distresses will disappear. All worries stemmed from the notion of self. Without this notion of self there will be no distress. This is because all afflictions are adhered to your selfhood."
