［施主一粒米，大如须弥山。如果不修行，披毛戴角还。]

Mt. Sumeru 须弥山

须弥山（梵文：मेरु，Sumeru），又译为苏迷嚧、苏迷卢山、弥楼山，意思是宝山、妙高山，又名妙光山[1]。古印度神话中位于四个世界:南瞻部洲，西牛贺洲，东胜神洲，北俱芦洲中心的山，是众神居住的神山。位于小世界的中央（一小世界是小千世界的一部分），后为佛教所认同。

Mount Sumeru is a sacred mountain with five peaks in Hindu, Jain and Buddhist cosmology and is considered to be the center of all the physical, metaphysical and spiritual universes.

I brought this matter up too when GM Lu visited UK, and the Entourage consisted of lots of what GM Lu terms as [闲人] - unauthorised personnel!

Why the need to have more than one "reporter" and each given task to write only ONE article!

How much does each of this [闲人] cost the organising committee?

Yes!

There are many that travel, eat & stay free while all their expenses are being paid by the organising committee and lay-students!

Is it any wonder you see lots of monks and nuns that have facial features of animals?

Animals have furs/hairs all over their bodies and some have Horns too!

Hahaha!

Remember an article I shared of my experiences in Seattle in 2009?

The superintendent, XR, threatened me on my first day of Reverend training with - Shixun said that I have horns, see how I am going to deal with you!

Does anyone need to be threaten by one who Glorifies in being One with horns, being a beast?

I neutralised him with Diamond sutra anyway and walked away with a smile!

GM Lu – Your Ordination Has No Meaningful Purpose

In the above speech, GM Lu said that for the ordained personnel, like monks and nuns, if they do not abide by Buddha teachings of Succouring Sentient Beings, then their ordination has no meaningful purpose.

HE was very clear in this explanation with comparison to the lay students.

My Assignment for that day was pinpointed at monks and nuns too!

I am to write about their mindset like being ordained is their stepping stone to Glorifying their ancestral lineage, Promotion and get rich. Fame and fortune,....

Hahaha! 

GM said the lay students in fact has less problems/worries and they can attain samadhi easier than the ordained monks and nuns; who has lots of problems and worries.

Being able to truly renounce sentient materials, one can easily enter samadhi.

Key is pure body speech mind.

Hahaha!

Whats hotly pursued by most of TBS' ordained personnel?

Promotion to Vajramasters!

Then when they are Vajramasters?

They want to be affirmed as being Enlightened!!!

An important key from GM Lu is Natural!

This site called themselves The Enlightened Buddha, and seems to be official site of TBS too!

In GM Lu's speech today, he touches on the topic of a True Votarist or Monk/Nun! :)

Hilariously, he explained that a True Votarist is one that CAN renounce all and be at ease; at peace; and stay pure!

That is Purity of Body Speech Mind, crucial factors for Samadhi; Yoga & Buddha hood.

Well, I have stressed that No one can help you cultivate and One has to put in diligent effort himself/herself.

Hahaha! Of note: GM Lu said that being dressed up like a Monk/Nun, is of no import if one can't enter Samadhi or let go of all sentient entanglements! 

Going through the ceremony or getting ordained serve no purpose if one can't cultivate to attain Samadhi!

See now why being listed or not on Core's TBS' reverend list is of little or no import to Lotuschef?

I humbly advise those that perpetuated the delisting, wake up and repent.

Say sorry to decimating yourselves first!

You wrong only yourself!

Attainment or Progress in Cultivation of Buddha Dharma solely depends on Self and these can never be taken away by anyone else at all!

Has the slanders and defamation all these years detrimented GM Lu at all?

Actually, I have an assignment to write about [光宗耀祖 Glorifying the ancestral lineage] in context of those aspiring to be Dharma King or TBS' successor!

But this above article based on GM Lu's speech is much more interesting! 

It also supports the concept that Chasing Sentient Glory is anathema to Buddha Dharma!

Also I got the green light to start retirement gradually too! 

If you read most of the articles in this blogspot, you would have realised that most can be substantiated from GM Lu's sharings or that of Ancestral Gurus.

I did my part pretty thoroughly these pass 7 years, counting from refuge in August 2008.

[ Look closely at those that uses Doctrines to get their ways!
Hahaha! they have yet to understand and apply what Dharma truly is!
They still think of a Supremacy over others they considered as "lesser beings", like they kick the dog wandering on the streets without a collar but praise the one on a leash all dolled up by its owner.
It is all about control and maintaining the control they crave so much over others.

In other words: Keeping you always under their controls.

I humbly suggest you look closely at the Monks and the Nuns.
Some monks have a female behavior while some nuns are very male.
As one cultivate, one already drop the differentiation of Gender far behind as one can Transform at Will.
Hahaha! Believe it or not, truly up to you.

One's body truly undergoes physical as well as spiritual changes along the path of cultivation.]

If you understand what happened to us after dying, then you will be free from Fixation and insisting that the Rules & Disciplines Must be adhered to, As per your Personal Interpretation!

I still recall an incident at Xiang Hua LZS before GM Lu's arrival.

Arriving late, monk Z grabbed a chair and regardless of those already sitting, he moved swiftly with that chair and brushed roughly past Nun Y, and the chair in his hand almost hit Nun Y on her head.

When Nun Y told him to watch his way carefully, Monk X glared angrily and condescendingly back at Nun Y then telling her "How dare she a nun voices criticism at him, a Monk".

I have shared this incident in this blog before.

This is about the 8 Respect Practices 八敬法， during Sakyamuni's lifetime.

Hahaha! 

Disciplines in Buddhism, are Guidelines for Self, to prevent One from straying off the Bodhi Path!

Anyone attempting to use these to subdue, control or dictate to others are Truly False Monks or Nuns!

Also, being a ordained longer than others, if not exhibiting any results of due diligence in cultivation, these reverends are False too! 

Now, why did GM Lu bring up those that are successful in cultivation and these yogi are laypersons too!

Being ordained is not an automatic to being a True Yogi!

After a long period of being ordained, say more than 10 years, if you still have lots of or full of Human Traits of the various poisons or non-virtue, You are a great failure!

I humbly suggest that You keep quiet and don't brag, but use your time fruitfully to put diligent efforts in cultivation!

Isn't it real sad to waste your lifetime with a Human Shell away?

As per GM Lu, he is much sadden with those that drop deep into Hell and Timeless Hell at that and impossible to save them!

Someone asked: Are you going to do Bardo delivery for AA?

I said: It depends on Affinity of AA with Buddha, not up to me to choose.

From his photo, AA has already undergone great changes to the negative and bound for Hell.

We do not interfere with anyone's Karmic Course!

Astral or Transcendental Powers? 

No! Can't be use if the subject has no sincerity in Repentance!

The 49 days period of Bardo existence?

If Affinity arises, well after the 49 days, we can deliver these spirits with ease too!

GM Lu said after homa event several times: So and so came and walked into the Homa Fire, got Cleanse and delivered!

So those with Affinity can come to our Homa events, and get Cleanse and Delivered too! :)

Look closely at the Homa fires, you might be able to pick out figures of various spirits too!

But, be Wise, only those True Yogi can invoke the presence of divinities to grace their events and do the necessary in Blessing and Delivery!

没礼貌的比丘 A bad-mannered Bhikkhu

24 February 2013 at Xiang Hua Temple, Taichung. Taiwan.

At about 1:30pm, a bhikkhu arrived at the 3rd floor of the above temple.
Many bhikkhu & bhikkhuni were already seated neatly in rows pretty close together as there is shortage of space.

Bhikku X grabbed a plastic chair and raise it above a sitting bhikkhuni and went to her left to be seated.
Bhikkhuni said to him, why he can't say excuse me and just cross over other's head without consideration for others' danger.

X said, bhikkhuni can't talk to bhikkhu like this and question them too.
He sneered at the bhikkhuni in question and said how dare she talks to him like this!!!

I brought up the 8 Respect Practice 八敬法, recently.
Obviously this X does not have any inkling why bhikkhuni in the past needs to respect bhikkhus.

He is downright rude and obnoxious and think too highly of himself!
What a poor misguided and ignorant soul he is, agree?

In the 8 Respect Practice, during Buddha's time on earth, bhikkhus went around to beg for alms and return to share with bhikkhunis, as they fear the dangers that might befall these females from people with bad-intent and they can't defend themselves.
Also, as they join the group well after most bhikkhus, these bhikkhus also undertake to teach them what Buddha has taught previously and guided them in their cultivation.

That is why Bhikkhunis practice the 8 Respect Practice, to honor those that provide for them and teach them!

It is not like what most think, that females are born Lowly and to be ordered around and step on!
Hahaha!

X is not fit to be called a Bhikkhu and also he is really such a bully!
Can he be considered as a member of the Sangha, one of the Triple Gems?
Can be be considered as a Buddha's student?

If you look at his aura, he resembles a Bull!
Facial complexion full of marks and potholes too!

Your visible facade grew from your heart. 相由心生。

Buddha is one that has the 5 wisdoms and one of them is Wisdom of Equality.
Can he endorse what this X has done to the bhikkhuni?

Definitely Not!!!

Believe it or not, this Title and some contents are from GM about 2 nights ago.

Someone reminded me in a recent email about one precept that states that Monks can reprimand Nuns and Nuns cannot reciprocate.
In this context, it means the Male venerables/Lama are more Superior than the Female venerables/lama.

I remember yet another incident whereby there were similar circumstances.

Nun X were talking to Monk Y, a fellow class-mate in Religious training school.

X said: I wish you the best and please use your own judgment and don't let others dictate to you. Our Guru is the best and only one to listen to.

Y said: Thank you for all the help you gave me during this period.

Monk Z, was eavesdropping walking behind them quietly without letting on his presence.

That evening onward, words got around that a NUN reprimanded/ scolded / lectured a MONK.

Hahaha! Poor nun should be severely punished!

Sometime back, GM said in one Dharma speech that these standards were set during Buddha's lifetime which is more than 2550 years ago.
In GM's view, he said that Monks and Nuns are equal and no differentiation.

In a recent discussion, a fellow student also said that some of these standards need to adjust to Modern Times.

Listen to GM's view and use your knowledge of Noble 8 fold path to come to an opinion please.

I will publish my humble opinion in article 2 of  [True/False Monk?] after I have heard yours.
I do have one already in draft but will wait to publish it with some of readers comments.
