7.七、即使守戒清嚴第一的行者，都輸給一心侍奉根本上師的侍者。即使侍者無暇修法，都得到師父的功德，甚為殊偉。
7. Even for those top cultivators that abide discipline strictly, also loose out to those that single heartedly serve or care for Guru. Even if they have no time to spare to cultivate, can also receive Guru’s merits, this is very auspicious.

八、弟子犯錯，被師父責罵是應該的。弟子若犯三昧耶戒，則有金剛神執戒，令犯戒弟子臨終墮入金剛地獄。

8. When Students made mistakes, it is only right to accept Guru's reprimands. If students were to breach Samaya vows, there will be Dharmapalas to enforce Disciplines, causing these errant students to be send to Hell upon their demise.

10. 十、凡認為自己法力第一，功德第一，智慧第一的行者，認為自己成就非凡而忘卻根本傳承者，此人早已被魔挾持。

Moreover, Disciplines, Samaya, ... etc.

Ain't these two as good as [One}? Hahaha!

Therefore, #2 has exposed his "horse leg" already! ((means - exposed himself as the Author of the Statements posted by Core, but alleged to be Guru's Statements on 22 September 2012.))
This can be said as: Don't beat but self confessed!

This is Differentiation mindset.

Enlightenment includes 6th Zen Patriach's [Middle Path Concepts, No Differentiation.

Therefore, Enlightenment is told to him by Guru out of Compassion, agree?
However, during the same dharma speech that Guru gave, Guru said that [Lineage Gurus said that Enlightenment cannot tell.....].

So????

We have witnessed, [Enlightenment] truly cannot from [external sources], must be from Self [Realization]!

#2 fundamental is [starts to blunder/make mistakes] already!
Still continue to be within [Lost/Puzzled], concur?

Guru's Statements? [2]

Sapia is one of the souls purging themselves of envy on the second terrace. The envious shades are seated together, leaning against one another and against boulders. Their coarsely woven cloaks are similar in color to the plain appearance of the rocks. Since they derived pleasure from seeing other people brought low, the envious are now deprived of sight in an atrocious manner: their eyes are sewn shut with iron wire. With tears squeezed out of their closed eyes, these souls huddle together like blind beggars (13.43-72).
Sapia, born around 1210 into the prominent Salvani family of Siena, perversely rejoiced upon witnessing the defeat of her fellow citizens (ghibellines from Siena) at Colle di Val d'Elsa, where her proud nephew Provenzan Salvani was killed. She now puns on her name in recognition of her foolishness (despite her name--Sapia--she was not wise [savia], 13.109-10). Sapia shows her eagerness to speak with Dante by raising her chin in the direction of his voice.

If you read again there are 2 opposing fragments in the statement no.10, and together you might think that the statement is unreasonable.

The first, stating that the topmosts and in the end is closed with forgetting the Root Lineage being at the hand of Mara, is by the way true.

But you might think, yogi with utmost wisdom to forget the Root Lineages is too funny to be true?!

The second, as fashi said "What are you trying to convey here? Are you jealous at those with accomplishments?"

The third, "Yogi who feels..." - is very personal. From whose perspective? From that of the majority? that of the reader?

Hahaha. I dunno, if he's sincere and able to ignore disturbing emotions that annoy his heart, this kind of statement won't appear. 

Seeing those with accomplishments, he will be happy; seeing those without accomplishment, he's okay too as everyone bears his/her own karma and will be liberated when the time is right.

A topmost cultivator is ONLY SUCCESSFUL because he understands Root Lineages and cultivate accordingly!


The Mara part is jealousy at work, its in the form of a curse at those at the TOP!

These are all from 4 Noble truths n its 8 fold paths!

2012年9月22日，法王盧師尊蓮生活佛於西雅圖雷藏寺餐廳午膳畢，由於深深關心弟子戒行，特別開示密教戒律重點如下：
　　
一、就師尊而言，對任何眾生，實無分別。然而，真佛行者修行深淺自有不同，凡是對於叛離傳承之人，行者不可與之交往，甚至交談亦不超過三句話，以免受其不正之念影響。
　　
二、密教有「十四大戒」甚至更有「十六戒」，有「事師法五十頌」等戒律，以後應該發戒律給新求皈依者，明白之後再求皈依。
　　
三、密教行者對於根本上師的衣帽，都不可觸犯。根本上師的床不可踏、坐。弟子不可足踏師影。不可於背後議論、妄測師父的境界。
　　
四、昔日西藏赤松德真王，因故驅逐自己的根本上師──蓮華生大士，甚至派兵追殺。赤松德真王還以芥子咒術釋放蓮師所鎮住在湖中的紅牛魔。於是紅牛魔轉世成為赤松德真王之孫，掌權當王後滅佛，終令興盛一時的西藏王朝湮滅。可見，叛離自己的根本傳承，亦會導致滅國的業報。
　　
五、昔日的密教規矩：師父未吩咐弟子看的書，弟子自己去讀也是犯戒。其他還有種種密教戒律。師尊比較主張自由民主，等弟子明白犯戒了，再向根本傳承懺悔還淨。
　　
六、昔日阿底峽尊者在印尼占碑參見金洲大師欲求法，大師觀察他一年才答應傳法。所以師尊說：「當初弟子要皈依師父前，彼此應該互審其器。（彼此應該觀察）。」

行者一旦離開自己的師父，不管師父如何，皆不可批評。因為，當初皈依師父，就必須守「三昧耶戒」誓盟。妄自批評師父，即為犯戒。

In some recent articles, I have already analysed item no. [7] quite thoroughly.

Use translation tools if necessary and try digesting the rest please.

Some I agree and some I don't. Have fun! 

I have special interest in item no. [10] too. Hahaha! 

Translated as: Those yogi who feel that their Dharma powers are topmost; Merits are topmost; Wisdom is topmost; achievements are unparalleled and forget Root Lineage, these people are already under control or taken hostage by Mara.

Isn't there a "sour grapes" flavor to this statement?  :) 

I mean those who "don't have time to cultivate, also can get Guru's merits" [7]. 

Is it can't or unable to cultivate diligently, that's why no advancement or achievement? 

Stressing the Importance of Root Lineage is to be applaud. However the context of the whole notice, seems to refute this reverence of Root Lineage, Root Guru, in that it has hidden agendas of Selfishness and Ignorance of those that lack true understanding of Buddha Dharma.
The Invasion of Sentient Mindset Factor! 

Hahaha! You don't have to agree with my point of view though. In Buddha Dharma context, YOU are free to have your own interpretation and usages too, as Buddha Dharma is Immeasurable too!

{AA: People are smacking with samaya precepts?
Yesterday I saw the Bahasa translation regarding Samaya being published.
It's guru giving the sermon on 22 Sept 2012 after having lunch in Seattle temple.
Perhaps you've read the chinese version.
The main point if I should conclude from the sermon would be "forgetting your guru".

My chinese is very limited so I don't get in touch with this YC saga.
At a glance, this is the test of abandoning dualism of two extremes.
If those people don't have any idea about dualism in the first place, no matter what we're trying to play with or say to them, it would be quite futile.
And it is sorry to say that they are no different than the other religion who knows only good sides and bad sides. How dangerous it is.

I know enough of Samaya to stay firm. therefore ZZ - throwing the 50 disciplines n samaya at me is real stupid!
He is chasing power n has the face of a pig last year I saw him...
therefore he is really in no position to slam those on anyone, what more to obedient little 4 year old like me.... Hehe

So I analyse both sides n think I am right in classifying them as mobsters?
They were incited n became excited n lost their cool n just follow the leaders like sheep following the lead hound....

sad! but at least they know I am not talking rubbish when I advise students not to enter into both sides....

1. Cannot talk more than 3 words with those that betrayed GM!

2. Give copies of disciplines to all new students.
3. Cannot touch Guru & his possession like cloths or bed and can't assess Guru's cultivation level
4. About tibetan king Trisong Deutsen who betrayed Padmasambhava n how his ring activated the red bull spirit to reincarnate as grandson n eliminated buddhism.
5. In ancient times, when guru did not instruct student to read a book, reading the book becomes breach of disciplines n must do repentance. Our guru is more liberal.
6. About how Atisha & Serlingpa studied each other before accepting each other; therefore have to consider well before refuge as after refuge there are samaya vows.
7. Those who care for guru are more meritorious than those who have cultivated well.
8. Breaching samaya will land one in vajra hell.
9. Always make sure Guru is upon one's crown before giving dharma speeches, else the speech is null & void.
10. Those who think they have cultivated well n very intelligent, they are controlled by mara already.

I had a glance that day n didn't bother to read on as they were truly not from Guru....

Dear readers, how many times have you heard Guru said: Those who cultivate well are just beside me, whereas those who are physically beside me and don't cultivate well, are truly very far from me.

Guru's statement nullified Statement 7 and 10 above, do you agree? 

Guru said he reads copiously as a daily routine too! Will he stops his students from doing the same? 

Does refuge in TBS means you get brainwashed and only fed whatever those "acting Guru" deem to put your way? Hahaha! hilarious! 

This has similar veins to the Guru has copyrights issue on Buddha Dharma that he shares? 

Finally, as there is no video recording of the supposed speech alleged to be Guru's; it is up to Individual to make what you perceive of these statements.

1. Grandmaster again gave blessing to your brother-in-law suffering from cancer. Please continue medical treatment. Also blessings to all named.

2. As to the blog you propagate Dharma with much sincerity and the charitable donation to orphanages in Cambodia, Grand master blesses your efforts.

3. Guru's teaches: Do not see me as a [Chu Jia ren/Monk], I am not extreme minded; not off putting; I am very diligent; always maintaining an at ease and happy disposition; I am heartily happy;  living very true and steadfast; not false and unreal; everything gushing naturally forth from deep within my heart.
