六度～精进 6 Paramitas ~ Virya - Diligence

Above: GM Lu expounding Lamdre in Seattle's Rainbow Temple on 18th June 2017. At this juncture he is talking about having all that Maitreya Boddhisattva promised to gift to HIM.

However GM Lu doesn't put weight on all these materials, have equal to don't have.

Because what belongs to the Great Earth will eventually be returned to the Great Earth.

Truly possessed is Maha Twin Lotus Pond Pureland.

When Maitreya opened his cloth pouch, all materials were shown to GM Lu.

In actual fact, Buddhas & boddhisattvas are all caring & concern to you, 

you only need to diligently cultivate & write, lotus will naturally sprout from the earth/ground.

Paramita is a Sanskrit term and means “perfection.”

The six paramitas in Tibetan and Sanskrit are:

(1) sbyin-pa (dana, “generosity”), 

(2) tshul-khrims (shila, “ethics”), 

(3) bzod-pa (kshanti, “forbearance, acceptance, patience, forgiveness”), 

(4) brtsong-’grus (virya, “joyful endeavour, diligence, zeal”),

(5) bsam-gtan (dyana, “meditative concentration”), and 

(6) shes-rab (prajna, “discriminating wisdom-awareness, insight”). 

This morning, I had a dream of someone stealing a statue of Maitreya Boddhisattva.

This statue is about 15inches in height & length of base is about 15 inches & 9 inches wide & wrapped up with beige linen. 

I went to chase this person and eventually he left the statue at a small reception booth. After recovering the statue, I walked into the temple as it seems an event is being held that day.

Hahaha! 

The floor approaching the temple proper suddenly sunk and water floated the way in.

As I stood by watching, someone sort of lifted a plank and the floor resurfaced!

Thinking to not wet my clothing, I started to step out towards the inside of the temple.

Guess what, I was walking about 2 feet above the ground and sort of flying!

Gosh! 

This is a temple in the underworld and the inhabitants all have miserable looks from great suffering sustained.

Dear all, Stealing is one of the 5 precepts that all should not breach.

It will land you in a Hell of your own making!

As GM Lu said: as long as you are diligent in cultivation, all divinities will bestow you with all necessities to carry on.

Remember back in 2010 when GM Lu visited Hong Kong?

The Vajra & bell were stolen after GM Lu used them, and a statue of Vajrasattva was also stolen. 

Who told you that things that GM Lu used or touched will enhance your lot and enrich you?

Hahaha!

Possessing these items at all cost, will land you in Hell, far far away from Pureland!

If you are one of those that still don't fully comprehend what GM Lu shares, then you are surely bound for one of the 3 lower realms of samsara!

Your only recourse is to start fresh from the very beginning after wholehearted Repentance!

All is not lost if you muster up your all and take charge from now!

價碼 文/聖尊蓮生活佛盧勝彥

有一位密教的大法王，到了台灣，這位法王當然是一級H.H的大法王，他要來台灣草屯雷藏寺拜訪我本人。
我聽了，非常歡迎。
我一定會用最高的禮儀招待他。(最高規格)
一、訂製高大寬闊的法座。
二、最好的休息室。
三、大法會中，坐上最高的法座。
四、鋪紅地氈。
五、弟子獻供養及哈達。我自己也會獻上供養。
六、招待高級宴會。
七、等等。

然而，他們的中心, 要求: Their demands:
一、法王及隨員的頭等艙費用，我們負責。

We must be responsible for Rinpoche & accompanying members first class air fare.
二、法王及隨員的住宿，我們負責。

Responsible also for all their accomodation.

三、在台期間費用，我們負責。

Responsible also for all expenses in Taiwan.

四、先給供養，五○萬至數百萬不等。

Pay 500 thousand or more upfront as gong-yang.

我聽了，他們的需求，全是：
錢。
錢。
錢。

協商的結果是：
「法王不來了!」

我聽了，法王不來，我輕鬆多了!
原本我以為，我的供養再加弟子們的供養，這些錢的數目也一定很高。
是可以的。
但，他們一定要先給「價碼」，其他再議。

我這個人，不是一個「金錢為上」的人，一生沒有「價碼」，一切都是「隨意」的，每一個法王來，都要先談「價碼」 。
我實在很不習慣!
我這一生，致力於「修行」及「弘法」，任何法會及法事，只有供養：「隨意!」
從不勉強他人，一定要有一個價碼，有錢的人，沒有錢的人，一律平等。
供養多。
供養少。
「隨意!」
一百元台幣也好，十元硬幣也好。

我與我自己聊天：
「你為什麼不計較錢？錢在這世界上是第一好的東西，你為何不計？」
我答：
「我知足，我沒有慾望。」

I am contented, I have no desire/craving.

「你可以有至高的享受啊!」
我答：
「我在美國，只買汽油，因車子要加油。我在台灣，只買水，因台灣的水，不能喝。除了這二項的花費，其他沒有了。」

In AMerica, I only buy gas for my car. In Taiwan, only buy water, because tap water in Taiwan cannot drink. Other than these 2 items, I have nothing to spend money on.

「你養老也需要錢？」
How about money for your old age or retirement?

我答：
「弟子的供養，很夠了!」

Students will gong-yang me, enough already!

「你不建屬於自己臺麗堂皇的寺嗎?」

You not building magnificent palace like temple that belongs to you?

我答：
「什麼才叫屬於自己？」

What means belong to self?

「屬於自己名下？」

Belongs under own name?

我答：
「這世界上，有屬於自己的東西嗎？」
In this world, is there anything that belong to one self?

The above is about a proposed visit by a renown rinpoche.

The asking price or price tag is way too high and as it can't be met, the visit was canceled.

Hahaha!

What a relief?

My sentiment about visiting masters is that they should be responsible for their own expenses!

For example: 

GM Lu visits to various temples worldwide - the host should only be responsible for GM Lu's expenses and care for him.

All that want to tag along, should pay their own way!

As it is, many tag-alongs do not know that they are not worthy of the money and time spent on them, as they do not contribute to dharma propagation!

We see that throwing their weights around, causing lots of unhappiness, by GM Lu's tag-alongs all these years, agree?

Karma is one's own!

Taking what you have no means of returning is cheating or stealing!

Yup! One of the 5 precepts!

Can you even merit it when others kneel or bow to you?

Taking GM Lu's view on Equality, most should stop belittling others or dictating to others creating lots of negative!

My humble advice: best to pay your own way if you have yet to attain enlightenment & buddhahood!
