Lots of people talk about KARMA.
How much do we truly understand about Karma?
I like this version best & I use it often.
Visualize a still pond. You threw a pebble into the pond.
Ripples form & spread out circularly. They hit shore or resistance at different velocity.
The impact caused ripples & return to the origin at its own velocity dependent on the speed & force at impact.
Note that the ripples form by the return has more than one origin.
Like in scientific terms, Action & Reaction. The stronger the initial force, the faster & stronger the return.
Let us say you make someone very unhappy. He in turn take out his unhappiness on others around him.
You are the initiator of the Negative karmic action which spread out to impact many.
When these karmic negatives return, their impact is a total of all that had been touch by your negative.
I met a girl of about 30 years old. She is classified as Retarded. She speaks in many different 'voices'. When you ask her who is she, she will sometime tell you she is 'gor gor' (brother). Then her speech changes & you ask her again who are you. Her answer can be 'jie jie' or 'mei mei'.(older sister or younger sister). She has a total of at least 4 children in her. Her Mother said she sometimes very violent when she throws tantrum. She also make loud noises at night and disturb the neighbours.
Another one is 36 years old male who drips saliva & mentally of 15 year old as he started being a 'retard' at that age. If left alone at home, he causes damges to the house.
Another 5year old boy cannot form words & just utter noises. General healthy Ok. Only cannot speak to communicate. Parents tried many channels to seek help but not effective.
I read this story about this man who cannot learn to form meaningful speech. He can only repeat one word out of a sentence taught to him. No matter who teaches him also gave up eventually. Buddha taught him to sweep floor and chant "Sweep dust rid earthly dirt". Buddha told all that come upon him to chant that to him to help him.
Buddha saw his previous life as a learned monk who is well versed with many sutras & teachings. He become too prideful & forgotten humbleness. He also become impatient and shouted at those that slow to learn.
His Karma made him one of those "fools" he labelled others.
Lost of speech ability and others are all result of Negative Karma one started in which one has to 'pay back' this life time or subsequent life time.
I saw lawyers that lie to win cases for their clients & gather fame. These are like Trophies of skull they had beheaded & carry around with them to exhibit their victories. They charges exorbitant fees as they gather more skulls. Last week I happened to have brief eye contact with one 'fresh from the kill'.
When cultivating I told GM I had a funny feeling like something poke my heart though not lethal but just make me uneasy. Yesterday in meditation I got my answer. I came face to face with a demon clothed in human form tha'ts all. Haha! I am so relief that I understand what has me uneasy for the pass few days.
GM advice was to watch but do not act to stop their rampage. Karma is not to be interfere with. It has to take its course. We can help when they are ready to repent only.
Well, I keep hearing GM chants Heart Sutra within my hearing like he did in Australia recently. He wants me to observe but at ease. Don't take action to stop these lawyers, their time will come.
Well, people suffering from many chronic ailments and we want to help them. Please teach them to say sorry and also do community work to help all sentient beings.
They have to lessen their own negative karmic forces.
