Lotuschef in Feeling the Pinch

Terjemahan Indonesia: Sampai Merasa Tercubit

Hahaha!
I have kept this topic back for quite some time, because the one involved is a master and he might not take this well.

This was in 2 speeches given by AA. Please do not attempt to guess who is AA.

In both speeches at different place and time, AA stated that "when you feel pain or the pinch in offering, then that is your limit".

He means if you buy or pay for something to offer to Divinities, when you feel pain or the pinch in your heart or pocket, then that is your limit and it is also your maximum level of sincerity.

Hahaha! Sounds familiar?

Sad to say: AA is ignorant and not well versed with Buddha Dharma.

  1. In offering: it is of utmost importance to show Sincerity.
  2. Sincerity does not equates to Affordability.
  3. You offer what you like most or your best or your favorite, that is Sincerity.
  4. Buddha teaches ways to find happiness & live in happiness and share these happiness all around. If it causes you pain or pinch in doing offering, then you become unhappy. :) Not what Buddha wants to see from anyone, correct?
  5. AA is too fixated and attached to Money & what one can get with Money.
  6. He thinks your sincerity is measured by the amount of Money you can AFFORD to Pay!

Sincerity can be offering the best you have, like sharing "Dharma" with all, in the name of Divinities.

The recent Pure Karma Medan event, we distributed food and hygiene supplies to 2 old folks home, that are solely dependent on charity, in the name of Living Buddha Lian Sheng.
This is something that Guru likes best!

There is no need to buy something expensive and offer to Guru in front of the whole world and like some students, persistently force Guru to wear them or use them!

Do you think Guru will be happy if you buy expensive items for him and the value of these items cause you "heart ache"? :)

Guru said when students or sentient beings are happy, he is happy too!

Cheers all. Don't believe those that really have no proper grasp of Buddha Dharma.
If you listened and believe and had went out to buy expensive items to offer to Guru, that made you "feel the pinch", please do not do so again. :)
