Cab Drivers [2].
On my way home after my meeting with a fellow student visiting from overseas.
I boarded a cab driving by a middle age male and he is pretty big size.
On the front panel of dashboard, he displayed many figurines and he also has a label affixed to the windscreen with the 3 Divinities of the Western Paradise.
From the cab's mirror, I "scanned" the cabby. :)
I asked him, does he owns the cab, and he replied that he just got the cab recently and he is the sole driver. His hours are long as he did not share the cost of the cab with another.
I told him to do more charity and his path will be smooth.
He said his path is not good as his wife ran away with her boss.
Dear readers, let us use the 4 Noble Truths to look at and solve this problem. :)
This is what I said to him:-
He should think he has paid up his karmic debts to his wife and ended a "bad connection" in this lifetime. Doing charity can help his path smoothen along his way.
He has a prosperous look and up to him to do something.
Advised him to ensure all the legal stuff is done and he is completely free from this relationship.
I told him to remove the figurines displayed on his dashboard as "loose spirits" can enter and reside in them and gives him troubles no end.
He looks happier when I alighted and I gifted him with Auspicious "Amituofo".
The first cabby makes himself unhappy with small matters and he looks older than his actual age if I am not mistaken or misread him.
Well, he can ask to be paid in Cash before accepting a passenger.
He can also look at things more constructively about his target.
His total cost is $55 + $ 35 = $ 90.
Anything amount above this, he has earnings. He said his age did not enhance his chance of employment in other areas.
So he just has to be happy with what he is doing for a living and leave the Target alone.
If he is happier and goes about doing his job with a more relax and happy disposition, the Heavenly beings will bless him too, as he is spreading happiness around.
The second cabby just need someone to point out to him that he has to leave unhappiness far behind. Without settling a "bad karmic connection", how can he then be free to move on to better things?
