During a fire puja cultivation session recently, I was helping an attendee offer a lotus filled with a variety of offerings.
Holding the lotus with offerings to her forehead with my left hand, and my right hand on her left shoulder, I proceed to help her send up the offering.
Suddenly some “electric current” sort of “bites” my 3rd and 4th fingers. I moved my hand away and clear whatever is on my hand.
After the session, I had a good look at this attendee and I just smile at her.
Later her sibling told me that she has 3 fetus spirits!
I advised the sibling to explain to her that she must do a proper bardo delivery for the fetus spirits. Fetus spirits can cause great upheavals to the parent’s or parents’ life. Most often drastically too!
What to do?
This is what I would do.
The parent/parents must take refuge and also the fetus spirits.
Then do Bardo delivery and the parent/parents are advised to do lots of merit dedication to them; to apologise and also to give them resources to draw upon for a better ‘life’ where ever they may be.
I do not accept Bardo Delivery request for those without taking refuge with True Buddha School.
This applies to Fetus Spirits; Karmic Negatives; Ancestors; newly deceased….
