Someone called me last evening and said these:
People don't appreciate the time you spend and the efforts you put out to share Dharma with them,
leave them alone and don't waste your time.
I don't like to hear people slandering you and go and complain to HQ.
Maybe will get you sack from being a fashi (venerable).
They say only a Shangshi (Vajramaster) can do this and that, lets not bother with them any more.
Another one: As we have majority here, you only need to share in Mandarin and leave those minority be.
Another: Someone said you are not to cross boundaries.

Let me share a story.
Monk P approaches local association to register a chapter.
The Association sent a representative, H, to look at the place.
H said these to the Monk.
You are less than 30 minutes away from a nearby chapter. You don't qualify to set up a chapter here.
As it is privately owned by you, why don't you donate the property to our Association and let others
who rent properties for chapters use this property. Save them money from paying rental.
Monk asked: Do they have a Venerable servicing that chapter?
H: No. Just fellow disciples.
H : O! you can also submit your application to Central committee of International headquarters, but they will redirect your application back to us!
Monk walked away from H.
H continue to share his ideas with two companions, D & J of the Monk.
Elaborating on his grand ideas of usage of the property if in the hands of the association.
J is a geomancer by profession and he too walked away from H.
D, administrative committee member of a Charity organisation, just stood there, showing how bored he is with H's speech.

There are others that are prevented from entering these territories to propagate Dharma!
The local association's administrators are too PROPRIETARY?
