6th Patriarch has Transcendental Powers - assassin came from northern chapter of Reverend Shenxiu. He set 10 teals of gold on the table because he can read into others past. He owes this assassin that amount from a previous life. However, the assassin could not behead 6th Patriarch after 3 attempts of using his sword. Patriarch said: I owe you money but not my life.
As per 6th Patriarch
Constant - has segregation/differentiation of good and evil.
Changeable/Infinite - is Buddha Nature.
However, Buddha's teachings is exactly the opposite.
GM considered both as the same.
