Coming back from White matter chanting, D said some one burned some Holy Books of another religion and violence resulted from these actions.
I laughing said: If they burn True Buddha's literatures or cultivation materials, I would said thank you for sharing Dharma with the beings of the Lower Realms.
Actually those that burn books are fanatics who are too scare to have a face to face confrontation and did it out of bravado. Or they want to start fires and let others go deal with them.
Most often they are just jealous of your popularity.
We should thank them for giving us so much thought & time & to put in actions too.

What has books to do with a person's action? Burning books won't harm any one. It is the perception of INSULT to Image that caused feelings of Damage Pride, EGO.
In Buddhist teachings, there is no attachment to any forms.
Why get angry when some crazy people gather some books and burn?
Time to print new ones, that's all!
Raise the prices of the books and encourage them to buy more to burn!
Donate takings to charities & say thank you to these rich fanatics. haha!
Whatever your religious beliefs, violence is not taught by your Prophet/messenger/holy ones/Gurus.
I humbly suggest we all look at all matters from more that one viewpoint.
Time to change position and get a new view?
