C said: GM said that if you are the only ONE on the moon, you have no need to abide by anything.
T said: But you are in sentient world so you must abide.
C said: one can choose to be on the Moon or in Sentient World as GM said. You like the sentient world then you stay there, I like the moon so I stay on the moon.
Lets discuss.
T does not seem to have listen and understand GM's teachings or for the matter Buddhist philosophy.
One can dictate or control one's life or death when one cultivate. 自主生死!
T seems to like to force his views on others in a threatening way, as failure to abide by doctrines or breaking precepts draw heavy penalties and so on so forth.
There's an article in GM's book that goes like this:
Question put to GM: What good is becoming a Buddha? So dull & boring, always cultivating or chanting, no fun at all.
This person and T is similar in that they let a single view or Form blind them to other views of Buddhism.
The negative side is that T insisted that C listen to him or ELSE.
Haha!
Personally, I do not agree with putting fear of punishment as a way to make others do something.
Buddha teaches us ways to leave sufferings and attain happiness and not to make others as well as self unhappy.
C is hinting to him to leave Attachment behind & also reminding him that he has Ultimate control of his own path.
