No evidence of Mindfulness [1]

Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mindfulness

Mindfulness is "the intentional, accepting and non-judgmental focus of one's attention on the emotions, thoughts and sensations occurring in the present moment",
which can be trained by meditational practices derived from Buddhist anapanasati.

The term "mindfulness" is derived from the Pali-term sati"mindfulness", which is an essential element of Buddhist practice, including vipassana, satipaṭṭhāna and anapanasati.

The Buddhist term translated into English as "mindfulness" originates in the Pali term sati and in its Sanskrit counterpart smṛti. The Abhidhammattha Sangaha, a key Abhidharma text from the Theravāda tradition, defines sati as follows:

The word sati derives from a root meaning 'to remember,'
but as a mental factor it signifies presence of mind, attentiveness to the present, rather than the faculty of memory regarding the past

It has the characteristic of not wobbling, i.e. not floating away from the object

Its function is absence of confusion or non-forgetfulness.

It is manifested as guardianship, or as the state of confronting an objective field
Its proximate cause is strong perception (thirasaññā) or the four foundations of mindfulness.

Sati means not only, "moment to moment awareness of present events," but also,
"remembering to be aware of something or to do something at a designated time in the future".

In fact, "the primary connotation of this Sanskrit term [smrti] (and its corresponding Pali term sati) is recollection"

The Pali-language scholar Thomas William Rhys Davids (1843–1922) first translated sati in 1881 as English mindfulness in sammā-sati "Right Mindfulness; the active, watchful mind".

Hi Fashi, please see my 2nd trial. Thanks!

1. Why this email from BB classified as Personal seek of knowledge and a fee applied?

BB is asking how he can use the joss paper to maximize the liberation effect, that shows he wants to learn something he does not know.

you are wrong! he knows the mantra has liberation effect

2. Why the fee applied goes to Charities approved by Pure Karma only?
I don't get it myself actually. Saw your articles mentioned that you have a goal for BB, you wanted to help him. You would like him broke through Buddha's No Differentiation; Segregation, Discrimination.

3. What did the short email contained that Pure Karma held back in answering?
You are not the one who teach him using the joss paper method.

4. Why direct BB back to his own Root Guru?
BB has practiced the smoke offering for some time, meaning someone has taught him this offering. He can consult the person who taught him.

5. Why was email sent to Lama Lotuschef's gmail and not the Official Pure Karma one?
You mention he is unknown to you, so how he get to know you? Is he not aware of official pure karma email?

6. Lama Lotuschef view is this person is not worth educating at the present time, why?
You are already helping liao... 😛
