Lotus Raymond's mother passed away peacefully at about 10pm on 24 February 2014.
She has been battling colon cancer for many years.
She gave up on treatment last year and the local temple's prediction was she won't survive big festivals like Winter Festival and if she does, she won't pass the coming Chinese New Year.
With SZ's blessing, she spent her last Chinese New Year with family.
Her name is Lotus Yu Ying 莲花玉英.
