In this book, Manjusri said that he has expounded Purifying Practice, and now request Head of Virtue do share with this assembly, Cultivation of Saintly or Supreme Merits.
“我今已为诸菩萨，说佛往修清净行，仁亦当于此会中，演畅修行胜功德。”
Head of Virtue humbly replied that this topic is Immeasurable like a drop of water in an ocean and he will share a little of it now.
[菩萨发意求菩提，非是无因无有缘，于佛法僧生净信，以是而生广大心。
不求五欲及王位，富饶自乐大名称，但为永灭众生苦，利益世间而发心。
常欲利乐诸众生，庄严国土供养佛，受持正法修诸智，证菩提故而发心。
深心信解常清净，恭敬尊重一切佛，于法及僧亦如是，至诚供养而发心。
深信于佛及佛法，亦信佛子所行道，及信无上大菩提，菩萨以是初发心。
信为道元功德母，长养一切诸善法，断除疑网出爱流，开示涅槃无上道。
信无垢浊心清净，灭除憍慢恭敬本，亦为法藏第一财，为清净手受众行。]

It's a long speech and ended with praises from the assembly and the pre-ending phrase :-
At this time, after Head of Virtue ended his verse, All worlds in 10 directions vibrated in 6 ways, Mara's palace conceals and closed, All Evil ways/paths came to rest.
