成就 Attainment

There are basically 3 types of Attainment.

1. 持名 - Chant name/titles eg. Namo Amituofo.

2. 护摩 - Offering

3. 修持 - Cultivation


1. For the elderly that is illiterate, the best way is to teach them to chant Namo Amituofo or for those that have taken refuge with Living Buddha Lian Sheng, our Root Guru, teach them to chant Guru's mantra, short version.
Most in Mahayana is doing this.

2. We have the Great Mandala offering which we do during cultivation session or before meals.
We also have Fire offering which Guru said is the Greatest way of Offering.

3. Diligent Cultivation of Tantra Yoga.

From Avatamsaka Sutra, we see that Buddha has done many eons of offering to all Buddhas, thereby accumulating blessings and eventually attained Enlightenment and Buddhahood.


If you can do Fire Offering instead of Smoke Offering, why not?
A student equipped with the Fire Offering Kit and also I guide him through a several sessions of doing his own Fire Offering at home, didn't fully make use of the Fire Offering Kit and practice.

Hahaha!

Pure Karma does regularly Fire Offering because we have many that do not know how to cultivate Sadhana or illiterate, or poor sight and can't read printed text.

This way they have opportunity in cultivating offering to all Universal Divinities regularly.
Looking through the photos taken during our Fire Offering sessions, you can see the elderly, happily participated in offering alongside all attendees too!

To them, Fire Offering has become Great Fun! :)
