I was invited to a city by a students. They treated me to lunch.

After being seated, student A instructed the service personnel to bring a stack of plates, bowls and chopsticks.

When the dishes arrived, he started busying himself with dishing the sumptuous food onto the plates using different pair of chopsticks for each dish.

Then he respectfully placed these in front of me and invited me to partake the food.

Hahaha! I asked him why he does this?

He answered that all visiting vajra masters and reverends, expect this type of respectful offeing!

I told him that I don't play this pattern. :)

A true disciple of Buddha must be humble; must treat all sentient beings as Self; must lovingly care for them, concur?

My brother told me that when he offered a table of vegetarian food to a Hinayana reverend, he stood by the side of the table and watch the reverend eat. After the reverend is done and walked away, then he and others are allowed to eat.

Why do they have this kind of practice?

[Purity]!

Hahaha! They feel that they are those that [renounced sentient home], [cultivator], and very [Pure], fear that sentient being will contaminate or pollute them!

Therefore, with this type of [Mindset], it is very difficult for a cultivator to attain Buddhahood, do you agree?

[Putting up an external show] is [Egoistic I], equivalent to all characteristics of the [3 poisons]!

Humbly suggest that all learn from Grandmaster: [True to his words and act accordingly]!
