Lotuschef in Chat - Intermezzo of the day

Lotuschef in Chat - Intermezzo of the day

From CN:

Maman dear,

This morning teacher came into my dream.
So he looked like just completing the fire puja session and was meeting with people who are waiting for the puja participants in a room like a school.
Those waiting are ranging from old folks to young people. All are non-buddhist, mostly catholic and don't have any idea of what teacher is doing.

So teacher kept walking and smiling and asking if there any who have any inquiry to him. To my surprise, they weren't hostile towards teacher while he was explaining simple buddhist philosophy.
So a catholic female around my age asked teacher, "So, what is your mudra? How do we form your mudra? Is it like this? (she tried to form the padmakumara mudra)"
Teacher then showed all the way he formed the padmakumara mudra.
I helped the old lady in the middle to correct the mudra she formed.

Teacher then said: To the left is lotus holding mudra, and to the right is dharma sharing mudra.
I helped others to form the correct gestures.
Teacher told the audience: the left one holding the lotus, means the inner purity.
So when you form the mudra, you recite: "Namo lian-hua tong-zi, om guru lian-sheng siddhi hum."
"Lian-hua is the pure lotus, and tong-zi is this (he drew a white dot in the chalkboard)."

I was astonished how would these people understand that white dot.
But i somehow know he's trying to tell the audience that the bright white dot doesn't increase and doesn't decrease. The meaning is too deep for non-buddhists.

And I woke up from the sleep.

LC: Yes. Guru said lotus emerges from mud and still maintain its purity!
I think he repeated it recently!
See how important is guru's Mudra?
Seems not many knows the significant!
It's very like our marathon session and my teaching non-TBS attendees!
So are the spirits at that park!

Hahaha!
Isn't guru spooky again, telling you that he is at our marathon? :)

CN: That's my impression.
Helping the newbies and non-tbs students, and even non-buddhists.
They were not angry, but instead eager to listen and learn.

LC: thats what I saw in WS' parents n also the fellow students that day.

no one actually explain techniques and reasons to them this way before.

Dear readers, Know what you are doing each step of cultivating?

As Guru said: Mimic is not the way to successful cultivation.

Cheers.

Om Guru Lian Sheng Siddhi Hom.
