Homage to Master Wong Tai Sin

This is an article found in Guru's book 85 page 31 to  35.
Link: http://tbsn.org/chinese2/article.php?classid=85&id=1638&keyword=&backpage=140&page=0

The article details Guru's astral meeting with Taoist Master Wong Tai Sin at the Wong Tai Sin Temple in Hong Kong.

Advice given by this master to Guru : - Balance
Guru is too "inactive" or "still" or "quiet" when in Seattle.
Best to be "active" or "mobile" and propagate Dharma around the globe.

{「蓮生,有勞不獲耶!」道者言。["Lian Sheng, is there rewards without efforts employed!" said the Master. }

From this article, I have the following thoughts:-
I recalled a conversation between 2 monks.
Monk A found B sleeping on the floor behind a partition, curled under a work top, which is his working station at a temple.

This is not the first time B was caught sleeping during 'working hours'.
B is a newly ordinated monk and attending training and A is one of his instructors.

A asked: Why did you become a monk?
You are sleeping during lessons and also sleeping everywhere when you are supposed to be working.
Do you think that becoming a monk, will entitle you to a long term free meal ticket from sentient beings?
What have you done for sentient beings?
Are you worth their respect?
Do you merit their caring and offering to support your sustenance?

Hahaha!
This is not the only instructor that found B lacking.

I was revising and practicing some chanting techniques with some fellow students and asked B to join us.
He said he has taken refuge for 19 years and he knows what to do.
Told me go read up Guru's book as I am so new to True Buddha School.

He came one day before the examinations and asked me to help him. Without my consent, he started to sing certain passages for certain ceremonies.
I told him that I am not in any position to teach him at all, as I am truly very new to True Buddha School and have not attended many big events to date.

He is totally tone-deaf, and can't get the right tone and tempo at all. No wonder most of the course instructors gave up on him.

Look around you like Guru advised, observe who you are listening to and learning from.
Ask yourself, does this person really knows and can teach me tantra yoga?
Go through the list that Guru shared recently on what a True Yogi should be.
In fact it is all in the speeches these recent weeks.

You can also refer to Guru's Sword of the Yogi, detailing the attributes of a True Yogi too.
Do not waste your time following fakes, as Guru said. Many claimed that they can Yoga but all fakes.

Om Guru Lian Sheng Siddhi Hom.
