When Guru gives empowerment, he holds a string connected to the racks where the banners are. He passed the energy thru the string to the banners. Some students were taught by their respective masters to touch the banners because the masters themselves believe that is how they get proper transmission!
Thomas Chung so one shouldn’t touch the banners when going through?
Francesca Poon They fall into the category of what Guru said: Yoga? Never Before!
Because in Tantrayana – Guru has the amazing powers to give anyone or a whole hall full of students empowerment or blessing with a sweeping glance.
recall he holds a mirror and shine on those kneeling to take Bodhisattva vows? Even for marriages, when there are too many. He can do it with light energy that most are unable to see as well. But to pacify or appease the sentient mindset, he holds a string attached to banners n mirrors to reflect light.
Mindset is such that when you are busy trying to touch the banners to get what ever you think you will get, you lost or forget Visualization , Mudra and mantra. When one’s mind is concentrate on more than one, that is Greed.
Guru said before that he gives everyone the same amount. However, if your mind or your heart is full of other stuff, you only get the balance to fill up only. Like a cup that is 90% filled, one can only top up with 10%.

Francesca Poon Another one is mindset of Trusting Guru to gives you equally and as promised for that session. This is lacking too! The Trust in one’s Root Guru! Hahaha! next time when u watch those passing under the banners, enjoy yourself.
I have written about this matter many times!!!
I even advised students before they pass the banners, well, they think I am mad!!! bcos their shangshi taught them this way.

because it will make those satisfied as they craved for positions. Hahaha! Guru keeps saying a True buddha don’t need sentient materials! like passing the banners, not many really understand what Guru is sharing.
Guru is teaching up to attaining Buddhahood n most are still too busy with grabbing so call “territories” that they can propagate dharma and crown themselves Kings! Sadly, in Buddism, Dharma kings are those that are able to yoga with their root guru and thru root guru, any yidams they choose. One don’t crown self as Dharma king because a true yogi has already what Guru said this mornning about renunciation n understanding what is Buddha nature and what is death.
Hi wise, I am sharing Dharmacakra in jkt with you all. So u will get an idea how Guru can do distant empowerment transmission without leaving his current position. read the related articles I posted to get a foundation first.
Guru can also just sit still n do empowerment without moving at all, for a whole hall full of students n beyond if he so please. Look beyond Forms you can see or hear or touch.
Guru keeps repeating the 5 senses yesterday n today! Ever wonder why?
why i teach students to initialize their own altars? I don’t need $$$? I prefer each one learn and use what Guru teaches n not be dependent on external sources. I always advice students to run away fast, if any masters or dharma propagators let you know or believe that only they have the power to do it for you, and you just pay them what they asked.
