[It is Difficult to realize the nature of Ati Yoga of the Great Perfection, so train in it!

This nature is the awakened state of Mind. Although your body remains human, your mind arrives at the stage of Buddhahood.

No matter how profound, how vast, or how all encompassing the teachings of the Great Perfections may be, they are all included within this:

Don't meditate on or Fabricate even as much as an Atom and don't be distracted for even as much as an instant.

There is danger that people who fail to comprehend this will use this platitude: "It is all right not to meditate!".

Their minds remain fettered by the distraction of samsaric business, although when someone realizes the nature of non-meditation, they should have liberated Samsara and Nirvana into equality.

When realization occurs you should definitely be free from Samsara, so that your disturbing emotions1 naturally subside and become original wakefulness2.

What is the use of a Realization that fails to reduce your disturbing emotions?

However, some people indulge in the 5 poisons while refraining from meditation. They have not realized the True Nature and will surely go to Hell. ]

  1. Disturbing emotions (Tib.: nyon mongs pa)
The five poisons of desire, anger, delusion, pride, and envy which tire, disturb, and torment one's mind. The perpetuation of these disturbing emotions is one of the main causes of samsaric existence.

  2.
  3. Original wakefulness (Tib.: ye shes).
Usually translated as 'wisdom.' Basic cognizance independent of intellectual constructs.

Amazingly short passage?

Hahaha! It is packed with much Dharma Treasures though.

We were discussing about Meditation after the recent fire puja cultivation session.

Guru also stresses the importance of Meditation frequently.

There is this statement for those in Meditation:

See Buddha Kill Buddha! 见佛杀佛!

Whatever you may see in meditation, let them pass. Don't get so distracted to follow the thought/fabrication and let it lead you astray.

The Sadhana laid out by Guru is extremely good and tailored at gradually leading One's mind into Meditation with the concentration on One Thought/Visualization, changing to the next.

This is to allow one to maintain only One Thought/Scene through out.

As we concentrate on One, we also unconsciously "let go" of our bodily function like breathing; discomfort from sitting still; and gradually we don't feel that our bodies exist too!

I suggested that students wear ceremonial robes during cultivation, in order for them to overcome the discomfort of heat; entanglement of the robe while in action; ill-fitting of the robe.......

I humbly believe that One has to overcome hindrances during cultivation, which is all the time with the help of Dharma knowledge acquired.

The Mind is the be all and end all of cultivation of Tantra Yoga and the hindrances are environmental factors that might distract One's mind, and in some instances, to even put Thought into Action.

Samsara & Nirvana as per our Root Guru is equal.

Guru also said that Buddha & Mara is equal too. 佛魔一如.

There is a student born on Vesak Day and she took refuge last Vesak. We also participated in her birthday celebration this Vesak Day.

Being born on Vesak Day or for that matter on any day that is considered Auspicious, is Fixation!

Hahaha! If One think that he/she is more privileged and has advantage over others, then One is indeed mistaken.

No matter when you are born, if you do not cultivate diligently and properly as per Root Guru's guidances, you will become Mara and not Buddha.

Our Root Guru is born on the 18th day of the  lunar 5th month, he cultivated to realize Buddhahood. We in True Buddha School celebrates this day as an auspicious day as well as Guru's ordination on 10th day of 2nd lunar month.

As Buddha said, All can become Buddha!

Everyone has potential to be a Buddha, irregardless of the day you were born.

Therefore, all beings are equal and have equal potentials to cultivate to Buddhahood.

As per 6th Zen Patriarch, Hui Neng, All Thoughts Are Evil!

:)

Once you think you are Superior and acted accordingly to show that you are Almighty and reign over others, then you are indeed in Deep Trouble!
