Home is where your Heart is

19-2-2012 Home is where your Heart is

In Chinese, Ordination to be a monk/nun/lama is called 出家 (chu jia), which literally means leave home.

Many perceived this as one has to leave the House after the Ordination.

There is a difference between Home and House?

Yes! A Home is a place where loved ones gather to live harmoniously together, whereas a House is a physical structure to accommodate you and your loved ones.

Do you agree?

In cultivation, your Heart equates to your mind and its function of thoughts; analysis and execution….

To a cultivator, Home is where your Heart is. All sentient beings are perceived as One with you. As you cultivate, you gradually drop/give up material attachment as well.

Eventually discovering that Your Heart also does not resides anywhere. 心无所住.
